Food was delicious. Wait was a bit but worth it. Sweet Potato Soufflé was really good. Description of the food in pics. Our server was polite and on top of drinks and ensuring we enjoyed our meal.

Welcoming atmosphere, with a fun and conversational staff. Menu was enticing and did not fail on delivery. Brittany and Angela were rocking the bar, pumping out a multitude of drink options. 10/10 would return again

My family has been wanting to try this restaurant since it opened, and we finally decided to give it a try tonight. We were genuinely excited, as we live near Exit 29 and there aren’t many places nearby where you can sit down and enjoy a nice dinner.

When we arrived, we were seated promptly. Our server took a little while to get to us, which was understandable since the restaurant was busy. An older woman—who seemed like she might be the owner or part of the ownership—came by with our silverware and spoke with us. She was incredibly kind and honestly the highlight of our visit.

That said, it’s difficult not to mention some disappointments with the food and overall experience. My wife and I both ordered the 12 oz ribeye, mine medium, hers medium rare. The steaks were cooked to the correct temperature and had good flavor, but a significant portion—roughly 4–5 oz—was very fatty and rubbery, which made it hard to enjoy the full cut.

For sides, I ordered fried okra and Brussels sprouts. The okra was dry, and the Brussels sprouts never came out (which I didn’t mention towards the end after the server forgot, because i honestly figured i wasn’t going to enjoy that either). My wife had mac and cheese, which tasted very similar to a frozen product, and the collard greens special, which were dry and seemed canned rather than freshly prepared.

Our daughter ordered the kids’ fried shrimp and fries. Unfortunately, the shrimp had very little breading, the fries were unseasoned and dry, and neither was hot when served. We also started with the fried pickles, which were small pickle spears. There were only five for $10, and they were not hot either.

Service overall was just okay. Our server wasn’t unfriendly, but not very engaging either. Combined with the food issues, the experience didn’t quite meet our expectations—especially considering the bill was close to $90 for our family.

I understand as a chef myself that kitchens can have off nights, whether due to prep or volume. I truly wanted to love this place and hope this feedback can be helpful, because the location and potential are there. I just expected a bit more for the price and was left disappointed overall.

Excellent place to go eat with friends or family and just enjoy the atmosphere. Owner’s are some of the greatest people that you could ever meet . They go above and beyond to satisfy their customers , so if anyone has an issue , they should bring it to the manager or owner’s attention , I promise you they would deal with it and you would leave satisfied. Go try these guys out

I’ll start this off by saying WOW! First time I’ve been to three oaks (since being tabby house) and I was highly satisfied, there were a total of 8 of us and our server Kayla did outstanding. The food tasted great! My wife wasn’t a fan of the coleslaw but overall every plate was hot and delicious. I will definitely be back

We stopped by this restaurant while traveling to jekyll Island from Macon. After I ordered my meal, I attempted to order some banana pudding. The waitress said that they didn’t any and suggested that I give the peach cobbler a try. Jokingly, I pretended to cry and that’s when the restaurant owner, Mrs. Fran came to my table. She gave me the sweetest, warmest smile and assured me that her peach cobbler is the best I would ever have and that she make it herself. Right after I finished my meal, Mrs. Fran delivered me a fresh, warm bowl of peach cobbler herself. Let me tell y’all, she did not lie!!!! The crust was so rich and buttery, the peaches were so sweet.. Omg!! She really makes her customers feel like we’re all her grand children. I’ve never been to a restaurant that made me feel like that. Overall amazing experience!

Only constructive criticism I would like to provide is work on seasoning the side dishes. The mac and cheese was a bit bland and tasted store bought. The mashed sweet potatoes were good but the oats on top becomes chewy after sitting on top.

This was close to my hotel. Service was very reasonable and timely. They were not too busy but there were at least 4 servers working.
Ordered surf and turf, blackened, medium rare, broccoli and salad. Steak was as ordered, shrimp delicious, broccoli nicely steamed with some crunch, and salad was good too.
I’d be back if ever this way again.

Glad someone opened a restaurant here. Close to home. Hoping to make this my go to spot for lunch. We had dinner here last week. It was good. No complaints, busy night, service was great. Food was good. I wish they would get more local beers or wines instead of the big corporate tap ones ( I’m a big supporter of wanting to support local businesses vs big corporations)

Let’s start with the positive…. Service was EXCELLENT! Our server, Kelcy, was very sweet. The Brussels sprouts were pretty good. Now to the NOT so positive… 3 Steaks (prime rib) ordered were VERY under seasoned…one had more fat than meat. Doesn’t even seem like they put salt on it. The mac and cheese shouldn’t even be on the menu. Dry, tasteless and not appealing at all. Our entire meal we sat next to an empty dirty table. It was a large group as 2 table were placed together. At SOME point the table should’ve been cleared. To sit next to an empty and dirty table for over an hour is not how we wanted to spend our evening. Not sure if we’ll return. Was highly disappointed.
