Kinda wandered in here after after a 7 mile hike around the lake and I’m so glad I did. I was just in time for happy hour “duff hour”. $1 beers and $1.50 pizza slices…. I repeat $1 beers and $1.50 pizza slices. I thought the beer would be like natty light or something but it was actually a really decent craft kolsh. And for the pizza… I was expecting cheap chucky cheese kind of pizza, but the pizza was actually really good!! They has a nice crowd of all ages. A nice outdoor patio area with couches to relax and chat with friends. This is Burlington’s hidden gem.

I usually always go to Three Needs. Great vibes, good people. But last night was the worst service I’ve ever received from any of the employees in my four years of living here. A friend of mine and I were looking for a group of people and were only there for 15 minutes. Once we found them we all went to go get some water. Then the bouncer comes up to me and says “okay… you’re done.” Then proceeds to ask us to leave. We hadn’t even gotten a drink at the bar. Gave us no explanation as to why we were being kicked out. Then one of the bartenders claimed that one of us could barely keep our eyes open. I’ve never been treated so unfairly in an establishment without even getting a drink within the first 10 minutes. All I can say is, expect a watchful eye on you when going to the water jug. God forbid someone try to stay hydrated.

When in Burlington, fill up at Three Needs! The pizza is excellent, crispy well cooked crust, no flop. I got a no cheese vegan pizza and it was delicious, the roasted garlic was a standout. Alex devoured the Sausage and Pepperoni pie and Sam was very into his pizza which had tomatoes, I’m always a little suspicious of that, but then again I had carmelized onions, so who is the suspicious one??? The beer was cold and served with care, on a disgustingly hot and humid day, who wants anything more. Alex raved about the cider, I had the Hazy Conehead (maybe?). This isn’t drunk pizza, this is legit anytime you want to enjoy the good life pizza, am I right?

i got kicked out after ordering pizza and sitting down. when i went up to go to bar area they kicked me out saying its “time to go.” i calmly left and didn’t resist however they put my hands on me. others who left around the time i was escorted out tried to ask the staff what happened and they wouldn’t say. i left very upset and calmly went back in with my friend who paid an apologized sincerely for whatever i did that upset them (they still wouldn’t say) and they told me to leave. my friends who were still inside asked again what i did wrong and they wouldn’t tell them and said they were “too drunk,” and claimed they told them twice. they didn’t. we had gone out but were not drunk and only wanted late night food. we were forced to wait outside for food we had paid for in 30 degree weather. they wouldn’t even let my friend who was just with me, who was not escorted out, sit in the landing, not the bar area, and wait. if they just told me why i was kicked out, i wouldn’t be as upset, but they didn’t. the fact that they put hands on me unnecessarily is also a huge reason im writing this review. do better.

Place is very cool. Pool hall in the back. Foosball and board games ready to go. Options for beer is awesome with a wide selection. Lots of character here, you can feel the history. I’d definitely recommend a visit. Pizza is pretty good, not great.

We come here on saturday nights because of Crystal. She makes us feel so welcome. My crew and I would not come here if it she werent here. Also, Lachelle on security is badass. Those two are the best team you have on a saturday night.

This place has some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Every employee is so incredibly rude for no reason. They are standoffish about everything. The bartender(older man) threw a piece of ice at my friend because he thought he had left a $0 tip on his bill(which was like $12). He had in fact left a tip. I once asked for a beer they didn’t have and the older woman bartender simply responded with “no” in a very nasty tone. My friend found a hair in his drink and they simply refused to remake it for him. There have been other experiences but it has gone on so long and every person there seems to be okay with this type of treatment so I had to put a review .

Our bartender, Crystal, made this our favorite spot in Burlington! She was so kind, friendly, and welcoming. When we came back the next night, she remembered our names AND our drink orders! Such a great vibe, would come back every weekend!

While the environment and drinks are fine, the service is absolutely horrific.

I witnessed a bouncer knock a drink out of a younger woman’s hand. The drink splashed all down her front. He also got in her face and yelled in it. As an older and loyal patron of this establishment, I will not be returning. Do better.
