Great Barbecue in Pine Mountain
The 3 Lil Pigs restaurant in Pine Mountain, Georgia, turned out to be an excellent stop and easily one of the best casual barbecue spots in the area. You order at the counter and they bring the food right to your table, which keeps things quick and simple. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating, a serve-yourself drink station, and plenty of parking right behind the restaurant. The dining area is a comfortable mix of booths and tables, very clean, and the staff were friendly and attentive—checking in at least twice to make sure everything was good. Prices were reasonable, especially considering the portion sizes. I ordered the baby back rib sandwich, which was unique in that the ribs were still on the bone, wrapped in tin foil, and so tender they fell right off when you made your own sandwich with the provided bun. It came with two sides for about twelve dollars, and the flavor and tenderness were both excellent. Drinks are separate, but that’s typical for this style of place. Everything about the visit—from the food to the service and cleanliness—was top notch. It’s easy to find, has a relaxed atmosphere, and feels like the kind of place people come back to often. I definitely plan to.

My husband and I thought we were going to being eating pizza, but we didn’t have time to wait on because of the crowd. We decided to take a chance BBQ. We’re so glad we did! Service was super speedy, his pork plate was generously filled complete with 3 sides. My turkey sandwich was piled high and was delicious. My collars were very good. Prices were very reasonable for the amount of food.

I visited Three Lil Pigs with friends a few days ago. It was an interesting place; I definitely got the “Georgia BBQ Joint” vibe when I pulled up. The service was fast, and the prices were reasonable. You get a TON of food! I’m serious; I couldn’t finish it all. The Pulled Pork was good; it truthfully wasn’t the best I’d had but it was good. The mac and cheese was WAY overcooked; the noodles were pretty much mush. My favorites were the bean and the chips: they were AWESOME. BBQ beans with great flavor (not your average baked beans), and the chips were kettle cooked and had great crunch. The sauce was good, but I like a little more strength to my sauce. All in all, a good visit! I would come back again!

Pork was good, as was the sauce. We didn’t care for the slaw of baked beans. On my nachos, I didn’t realize they were going to drowned them in the slaw, or I wouldn’t have gotten any on there. I scooped as much off as I could. Other than that, they were very good. Some of the best pickles tho! Stanger they come as a side, and they don’t just add a few to your plate…
Very clean and lots of outdoor seating for the warmer weather months! Portions were great size.

Loved our experience at Three Lil Pigs! We couldn’t find somewhere for our large group (40), and saw the reviews of this restaurant. It did not disappoint!!! They were able to get our orders taken quickly and before we finished filling our drinks, our food was hot and ready! They are incredibly friendly. The food was excellent! Highly recommend this when you’re visiting Pine Mountain!

Went here thinking the food was going to be delicious. Very cute restaurant, nice employees, very clean. But the food was lacking! I spend $50 and we didn’t like a single thing that we ordered! I got the chopped plate, it came with 3 sides. I got collar greens, Brunswick stew, and potato salad. I was very disappointed! The Brunswick stew was basically just a vegetable soup. The potato salad was rubber! And the collard greens tasted like cheese! My husband got the burger with the bbq on top. It wasn’t seasoned at all and tasted like nothing. Very disappointed, I will not go back!

Three Lil’ Pigs has it going on!! Great tasting food! Friendly staff! Fast service and clean! Big shout out to the entire staff!
I ordered the BBQ chipped plate with three sides. My order was ready for me before I could finish putting ice in my cup. Even tho they were slow, you just don’t see that very often in today’s society.
They have indoor, screened-in porch, and outdoor seating arrangements available to eat at. They also had music playing.

My boyfriend and I spent the day at Callaway Gardens and we decided to come here. I don’t really like bbq and came here for him but this place made me like it again. This bbq is fantastic. It falls off of the bone. It smells good already when walking in. The entire place is so cute and the service is great. The food is phenomenal. 100/10 for me

Ribs. The ribs are absolutely fantastic. The pulled pork can be a bit dry, but to me that’s also almost all bbq joints. The sides leave a lot to be desired. Everything has cumin. LOTS OF CUMIN. So everything tastes like chili. The potato salad is amazing, so is the Cole slaw. But to me it’s worth going there just for the ribs. They are my absolute favorite. I live about 35 minutes away so I go there quite often for a full rack.

This was our first time at the Three Lil Pigs and I’m sad to say that it is the most underwhelming barbecue that I’ve had in a really long time. Among the 4 of us, we had the turkey, pork, and chicken. All three meats were tasteless. The meat tasted like it was a couple of days old. The thing that saved the meat was the barbecue sauce. The macaroni and cheese and the baked beans were mediocre. I was surprised there wasn’t any fries at a barbecue restaurant. Unfortunately, this was our first and last visit.
