Went on New Years Day with a friend for the first time & wasn’t disappointed. Ordered the deep fried green beans as an appetizer, which came out quickly, and the mushroom swiss burger with fries. Was surprised there’s an actual smoker in the kitchen! All of it was really good & I plan on bringing my family back.

Service is fast, friendly and accurate. I ordered a Ruben and it was one of the best I’ve ever had. Thick cut and lean meat. Get the fries over the chips. Atmosphere is your typical Wisconsin pub. Friendly and “woodsy.” Bathrooms are ok, not great. Plenty of TVs for watching the game and seating for kids if needed. Plenty of parking. Just know that during the camping season it can get very busy. But they are staffed accordingly.

I would come back. Came here for a breakfast on a Sunday. Tried the breakfast Tots bowl that came with nacho cheese. I was a LOT of food but really good! There was a bug in my water so I would double check when you get yours, but overall …. the atmosphere is very cool. Decor, bar area, and service. I would love to come back in the evening when there’s a different live vibe. Very cool RV park area that surrounds this grill with fishing and canoe opportunities. I can imagine how awesome this is to have a restaurant this close to your RV. Great area and menu options to eat. Alligator is on the menu if you’re up for it.

Had a great group dinner here tonight. Charming log cabin atmosphere, deer heads on the wall and very loud and crowded for a Thursday night.
I imagine it was because of the $11.99 ribs special. My roommate and the 3 other people at my table ordered them. I can’t eat a lot but stole a couple ribs from his plate. They were tender and had just enough sauce to make them juicy.
I ordered a Mojito to drink, nice lime and mint, very refreshing. For dinner I had onion rings. A huge plate, golden brown fried deliciousness. And the best part of the meal for me was the chili. Not too spicy and a great smoky flavor. I usually order chilli because it’s easy for me to digest, and if I had known how damn good this chili was I would have ordered a bowl, not just a cup. It really was very very good.
All in all, a great place to go to eat. Gave a 4 for atmosphere because it was so noisy it was hard to have a conversation with anyone. We had a reservation which apparently was lost so our group was split up into 2 tables in the front of the restaurant. I think if they sat us as a group, at a larger table we probably would have been in a better area. But they were quick to try and accommodate us, even though they were very busy. I would definitely return here. But maybe not on a Thursday night.

Such a cool place. Is like you walk into and old barn or tavern. The place is welcoming. The pulled pork was great but maybe a tad but too much bbq sauce. The fried yellow perch was delicious. The value fit the food is excellent. The service was a bit slow but they were busy but everyone was super nice and friendly and worked hard to keep up which I give 5 stars. If in the area I would stop by and get thru burger which looked amazing at the table next to me. Recommend this for good quality casual place.

You will find this restaurant just a mile or two outside Elkhart Lake and it is certainly a gem. We called ahead for reservations and glad we did they were busy with locals! You know the food is great when you have the majority of the patrons on a Weds afternoon. Super chips app, perch and blue gill dinner as well as a mushroom burger made our tummies filled! $3.25 rail old fashioned were also well made. Would return again next time I’m in the area.

Awesome little restaurant right next to the Sheboygan marsh tower. Our bartender was nice and checked in often. I ordered fish tacos with homemade chips and both were excellent. When the chips came without dip I was a little concerned, but they’re so good you don’t need any. Also, the bomb pop cocktails we ordered were dangerously delicious. Overall it was a great experience!
