Customer service and the food was excellent. The ribs were well cooked and the potatoe salad and baked beans were excellent as well. The hot bbq sauce is truly hot, so be careful, have a cool drink ready. Lol. I loved every bit of it.
The restaurant has a window that you walk to for ordering and pickup. No seating available.
Parking is on the street.
Look forward to returning and trying the chicken.

Ashanti and gang were tasked with catering a party for us this past weekend and man did they hook it up!! Everything was ready on time and could not have tasted better! 10/10 experience. These folks know BBQ and service.

Beans are striaght from the can mixed with apple sauce….out of cold slaw and potato salad (idk how this place is only open for 3 days and can be out of cold slaw a staple of southern bqq) hours are very weird. Chicken was a little on the dry side.

We had the most delicious chicken with tangy mustard sauce for lunch. Given it was our first time, we got a free sample and were licking our fingers because it was tasty. We felt welcomed and the service was great. A modest restaurant that hits the spot.

While the food is good, the customer service is terrible. I am a huge supporter of Black Owned Businesses, however we as a people must do better. We cannot expect customers to patronize our business, when we fail to treat them with the most basic respect. There is a very negative stigma customers hold regarding black-owned businesses having poor customer service.
Although this is definitely not true for many black businesses, it is an area in which we need to pay special attention , especially Pine Street BBQ! No matter how good your family recipes are, or how tasty you BBQ sauce is, when you can’t answer basic questions without an attitude, you can’t say you are a successful business!
Now you know. . .when you know better…do better!

Absolutely amazing. We followed our noses and the sight of a long line of people waiting (in the rain!!) and we were NOT disappointed. Super friendly staff, and absolutely astounding food. We had the rib sandwich and the meat practically fell off the bone. The sauce was a delicious mustard based yellow sauce. I’m from the west coast, so my opinion might not matter much, but even my born and bred southern partner and mother in law said it was the best barbecue they’ve ever eaten. Don’t judge it from the outside – just GO!

Seems that the food is never done and ready to serve when you get there no matter what time rather it’s 12 noon or 2 pm. The lady always saying come back in 45 minutes and the customers there seem agitated because they have been waiting for however long. WILL NOT attempt to support this black owned business again..!! Merely pathetic..!!
