Service was very attentive.
The steaks were excellent. I treated myself to the 35oz tomahawk and didn’t regret it. I could have eaten even more! Pleased that the steak was cooked without any extra herbs or rubs, so you get just the flavour of the meat.
My wife was very happy with her ribeye, and as a Canadian she’s very particular about the quality of her steaks. She claimed it was the best she’s had in the UK.
The music was a little on the loud side, and a touch too modern. Some quieter classical music in the background would be more sophisticated and create a better atmosphere, but maybe that’s just me.
10% service charge included in the bill.
The car park was full when we left
at 6:30 and I can imagine it would be difficult to park during busy hours. You’d have to park on nearby residential roads instead.
There’s currently 10% off Mon-Thurs; check their website for details.
I tried it via the set menu which consisted of 3 courses for £29 per person.
Incredible value.
Halloumi to start, sirloin main, baklava for dessert.
Absolutely 10/10 throughout even the service.
One thing that stood out more than anything else was how clean this place is. Not even just the restaurant but the corridors downstairs and the men’s toilets was absolutely stunning clean.
You can tell the kitchen is immaculate without seeing it because of this.
I will be back next for the Sunday roast and then after I’ll try the main menu. Top marks all around!
The food was outstanding — full of flavour, beautifully cooked, and clearly made with care and quality ingredients. Every dish was spot on, and you could really tell the kitchen takes pride in what they serve. Portions were generous and excellent value for money.
The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, making it a great place to sit back and enjoy a proper meal. Everything from the cleanliness to the overall vibe added to a really positive experience.
Highly recommended to anyone looking for great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We’ll definitely be returning again soon.
Nice touch with the little cake for our celebration. We will be back, but management need to ensure staff members are dressed appropriately and trained to not put crumbs on customers laps.
Great food combined with great service and atmosphere.
All the food we ordered was cooked to perfection. Absolutely delicious food and drinks. It’s worth every penny.
Table of 4, each had a different steak. These included the fillet, T-Bone, Rib eye, and Dallas, and each and every bite was lush! Not one single issue with any of the food or drinks.
Prosecco was yummy, and the cocktails were fabulous.
Bill was resonable at £380 which includes the service charge. We had 8 cocktails, a couple of bottles of prosecco, and around 8 pints of larger as well as 2 onion flowers (beaut!) for starters and steak mains for all 4 of us, so it wasn’t bad at all.
If you love a top-notch quality steak, then this is the place to go! The Rhyther Arms has been a keen favourite of ours for some years now, but three flames have most definitely now taken first place. You can see why it’s won the awards it has.
Cannot wait for our next visit!
Beautiful building, with ample parking. Great choice of drinks including mocktais. Steaks cooked to perfection. Cannot fault at all!
Unfortunately, as gluten free and coeliac diners, we left feeling disappointed. We had checked the allergen matrix beforehand and felt fairly confident about what we could eat. Once we arrived, we were told the fries were not gluten free, which did cause some confusion and concern.
Despite being careful with our choices, both of us ended up with upset stomachs afterwards, having only eaten a gluten free bacon sandwich earlier that morning. This strongly suggests there may have been some cross contamination in the kitchen.
This review is not meant to be negative for the sake of it, as everything else about the experience was genuinely great. However, for coeliacs, gluten safety is essential. It may be worth reviewing procedures around cross contamination so gluten free diners can feel more confident eating here.
A lovely restaurant with amazing service, but sadly not somewhere we would feel safe returning to as coeliacs at this stage. Hopefully this feedback is helpful and also helps other coeliac diners make an informed decision.
