We found this place on a whim. We were looking for some comfort food, and boy did we find the right place. The menu was extensive. From seafood, to steaks, sandwiches, hot plates, burgers, pretty much every category you can think of. We settled with the open faced hot roast beef sandwich with mash and gravy, and the French dipped sandwich with french fries. The hot roast beef came with an array of yummy veggies such as cauliflower and broccoli. I was not a fan of the gravy however, not rich enough or beefy enough, but it worked okay with the sandwich. The roast beef was amazing. The French dip came with the most wonderful French fries. They were crispy on the outside and very creamy on the inside. Next time we are getting the basket of fries, they were that good. The ranch dressing for dipping was exceptional. Oscar our server went out of his way to help us, he was generous with his time and kindness, even making my daughter his recipe for ginger ale. All in all worth a visit or two or three.

Attended this restaurant for a graduation party in their banquet room. Food was served buffet style. It was actually good. Staff was very attentive. Great space that fit at least 150-200 ppl with plenty of space. Would recommend this space for banquets.

Kind of old school dining. Caters to the older generation. It really is a nice relaxed place to dine.

Incredible staff! Prime Rib was reasonable, properly cooked. The bread! OMG THE BREAD! Best bread we’ve had dining out in the San Jose area! Slightly sweet, tender, soft, with a light flaky crust. Perfectly baked! I will return and try the filet just so I can have more BREAD! Carrot cake and some cobbler Desserts were tasty, if a little on the small side for the price. But we took them to go and weren’t quite as stuffed from dinner… lol

We had always been told to eat there and it was late so we decided to try it. I have to admit we’re all kind of laughing because we didn’t know it was a place where older people go even though several of us were older. Turns out the food was actually excellent. We were really and pleasantly surprised. The only thing that wasn’t good was what I got, the veal and lemon capers. It was tough and gamey. So gamey in fact I stopped eating it because I was afraid I would get sick, that something is wrong with the meat. Bomber too because it was my one splurge of the month. Someone else tried it and agreed. I mentioned it to the waiter because I obviously didn’t eat it but they didn’t take it off the bill. Outside of that, and I have to admit I was with picky people who are foodies and everybody was pleasantly surprised at how good their meal was. Kind of wish mine was. I was really hungry when I got home.

The bacon wrapped fillet was on point and the rest of the food we got was top notch. Our waiter was great too…made our anniversary dinner worth it, even if it was on Karaoke night with seniors singing next to us. Would not pick a Sunday night unless you like the above mentioned. Would definitely come here again…give that chef a raise!

Possibly the best steak I’ve ever had. For sure a top 3. Service is excellent and despite coming during peak time on a Friday there was no wait. I ordered the New York Pepper Steak. Portions seem generous. Left incredibly satisfied.
