My first time was amazing, THIS TIME nahhhh this ain’t it. I ordered one shrimp, one bbq chicken, one steak. No words on how I feel but especially that my tacos are mostly lettuce and cheese but the shrimp is truly hurtful the shrimp are so over cooked. I truly agree it depends on what day and who is working that makes their tacos great. On taco Tuesday tho???

I usually tend to visit the fancier places but tonight I was hungry and too tired to go to my usual favorites. I happen to drive by this Mexican place that sort of blends in at a small plaza and isn’t too noticeable. I went in because I was craving tacos. As soon as I entered I noticed their humongous menu. So I said, “wow, this is crazy!”. A customer started raving about how great everything is etc etc. I’m happy I found this place. Good food, filling, tasty and friendly. Sure beats taco bell for tacos. I will be back to try the other things on the menu. I took a pic of it. See below.

Three Amigos Fresh Mexican Grill offers some of the best Mexican food in the area. The salsas are especially delicious, and the margaritas are always cold and refreshing. The service is also very friendly and attentive. Overall, a great place for a tasty and affordable meal.

Great authentic fast and fresh Mexican food prepared as you order. They give free chips and various salsas. Only gripe is they have a drink machine that has bee out of order for close to 2-3 years now. Replace it or fix it. Otherwise it’s our go to place especially after baseball in burns park nearby.

Food is great but customer service could use help. Especially with a lot of competition of Mexican restaurants in the area, they should try to keep their customers happy, especially when they mess up an order. The only positive during my recent visit were the 2 guys at the front counter who did the right thing and tried to make up for the owners poor customer service. They deserve 5 stars before the restaurant does. Good looking out for the business boys. Hope you get taken care of by management.

I posted the above review before I got home to find out that they still got my order wrong even after making me wait for them to correct it in the first place! While the food is always good, for some reason they always have trouble getting your order right. As I said in my previous post, way too many competitors in the area for them to not be at their best. Good luck.

My review is 1 star after tonight. I order the ‘Uncle Buck’ burrito when I come here. For some reason, the cook, or whoever makes this, constantly forgets to add the bbq sauce or sour cream. 2 critical ingredients as this will be rather dry without it. The previous 3 or 4 times I ordered this I noticed right away both were missing. So tonight when I called in my order I nicely asked can you make sure this is added, as it’s always omitted, even though the menu description clearly says this is part of the burrito. Well when I get home after3 or 4 bites I noticed both are missing again. It’s like why did I bother even asking if it’s not going to be included. I ordered from here tonight as I got a gift certificate, and was in the mood for a burrito. I used it the last time when I ordered 2 of these burritos, and the same ingredients were not included. I have $20 left on the gift certificate, and honestly, I will be done with Three Amigos. If I ask to please add the ingredients that should be there, and it’s ignored or forgotten once again, then what’s the purpose of to keep coming here? The burrito is delicious when all of the ingredients are included, but no sense to keep on coming if it’s going to be wrong. If this one is wrong all the time then the other times are probably messed up just as much. One last thing, tell the person who picks up the phone you’re in Massapequa Park, not Massapequa. Two completely separate towns. You might as well say Seaford or Wantagh if you’re going to get the town wrong, just like the order is always wrong.

Food is truly delicious. They have a huge menu and food is cooked to order. We order quite often. Wish the delivery could be quicker as sometimes over a hour and a half. I’d like them to make some Latin American soups too with the cream, noodles and cracked egg in it. Never can say anything but 5 stars on the taste of food!

Surprisingly, very good for a small place. As a family, we have eaten there many times now and we have never been disappointed. Their guacamole is one of the best I’ve ever had. I also really like their salsa bar. There is a large Mexican restaurant down the road from Three Amigos that we tried and we were very disappointed, food was meh, portions we’re small and prices were ridiculous. Three Amigos is the clear winner and now our GoTo place for local Mexican food.

Everything is delicious!! Get their fried ice cream! The place just needs the air conditioner on during the summer, because it’s literally like a sauna and you can’t wait to get your food and go! But other than that, the food is great, customer service is great, it just sucks that on a hot summer day, you can’t sit and dine in without sweat literally pouring down you like a mini shower, and that’s justvwhile you’re waiting for your food which does not take long to make, at all. That’s how hot it is. They leave the door open too which does not help but I definitely recommend this place to anyone, just order for delivery if it’s summer time.

If you’re looking for authentic Mexican, this ain’t the spot. Got tacos, nachos, enchiladas and refried beans.
Tacos: meager, lacking substance and the neat was bland
Nachos: stale tortillas, barely any meat
Enchiladas: not sure why they were sweet but they were not good. Dousing them in cheese to mask the lack of stuffing is deceptive
Refried beans: straight out of a can, bland, no seasoning. Yucky.
Sorry guys but you gotta reconsider your ingredients and put a little more thought into the taste
