It is rare that I dine in a place where there is nothing negative about it or ways they could be better. From the moment I walked in, until the moment I left, it was 100% one of the best restaurants experiences I’ve ever had. (And I’ve lived and visited all over the world on nearly every continent!) The menu is broad and delightfully difficult to make a single decision. It was well organized, and everything was described in such a delicious way! Our meal started with Dolmades, which were tender and meaty… so savory and delicious! For my main meal, I went All-American and had the corned beef reuben sandwich with coleslaw, fries and a pickle. It was exquisite! Most places have the toast a little too buttered on the outside of the bread, but this one was absolutely perfect… toasted and not greasy at all. Our family of 7 were greeted as well during the meal by what looked like the manager/owner. He was warm and welcoming. The server was also attentive and friendly. Overall, it was probably the best dining experience I’ve had in Spring Hill. It’s a shame that they have limited hours. More people in our community need to experience this restaurant! It is certainly one I will be frequenting! You should, too.

Stopped by for lunch. It’s such a cute place. Very cozy and clean, lots of hometown charm. The staff was so welcoming and sweet and it’s family owned.

I ordered the turkey club on rye. It came with fries, a pickle, and a little slaw. The portion was huge, so I had plenty to take home. The club was fresh and tasty, but the real standout for me was the fries! They were very hot, super fresh, and absolutely delicious. They recommended I dip the fries in a side of tzatziki sauce…chef’s kiss, so good!

Will be back and happy to support a local family business vs my usual pub sub.

Decent food. Good food prices. Breakfast had large portions. Took half of mine home. However, bring cash – they charge 3.25% on top of your bill for credit/bank card use. It was also very loud inside. So HOH may have a hard time communicating – we did go on Saturday morning at about 1030 am.

Awesome place, really cute and homey inside. Fantastic, attentive staff, great food, great portions, great quality. Have been here many times, and it has never disappointed. I almost always get the Country Skillet, with sunny-side eggs on top, and it is dee-licious. Absolutely love this restaurant and all about it.

Absolutely delicious! My dad has been here 4x. Today was my first time going with him. He always gets the Greek salad, says its the best he has ever had! I got the cheese steak hogie. The steak was real steak not shredded. Nice and tender and toasted perfect. The service was amazing! I cant wait to come back and try the Cuban.

I’m not sure if it was just a bad day, but I don’t plan to come back. I ordered the turkey club with a side of fries and onion rings. It took a long time for the waitress to take our order and check on us again after dropping off our drinks (about 10 minutes). When the club came out, I took one bite and spit it out. The lettuce and tomato were old and squishy and tasted terrible. The turkey was black in some spots and mostly gray. It tasted so bad I couldn’t eat it. The pickle was overly acidic, and the coleslaw was gray, squishy, and old. The waitress said she would take off the club, but still charged us the side of fries that comes with the club meal. I understand that, but as a previous owner of a restaurant and a former chef, I would have comped the entire club meal or just charged for the onion rings. When I checked out, the host at the front was very short with me. He didn’t ask how our meal was and didn’t apologize for the bad meal we were just served. No accountability. No hospitality. Nothing. I have felt sick to my stomach since I left this morning. They definitely didn’t take care with our food. Very disappointing. Cute atmosphere and small town vibes. The waitress Diana I think her name is, was very kind. That host was barking orders at her the whole time and he didn’t do anything besides walk around and acted like he owned the place.

Food is really good here. Normally not much of a wait to get a table although it is very busy when I have been. Service can be kinda slow some times but understandable with how busy they are. The kids love getting the pages from the coloring book and the crayons while we wait. The staff is always very friendly and kind. My family will continue to eat here.

I always enjoy my time at The Thousand Island Cafe. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm and friendly. The staff make sure that you feel comfortable and feel like you’re with family and friends not just a paying guest. My son loves to treat me by bringing me to the Thousand Island Cafe, where the servings are very generous and the food always arrives piping hot! I recommend this wonderful eatery to anyone who is looking for a place that serves great meals in a welcoming atmosphere at reasonable prices!

If you want a great breakfast in Springhill stop at Thousand Island. My wife and I have been coming here for over ten years now. Driving past you’d never realize what great food (and people) were in the building. It’s an unassuming corner building. However,
Don’t judge the book by the cover. Old town diner feel with ample seating for both small and large parties. On a Saturday morning be prepared, for both a wait and an energetic feel. All pointing to how favored this restaurant is in our community.
