Thomasville Grill is a beloved eatery in Thomasville, Alabama, that recently rebranded from Gaston’s under new ownership. The renovations have really freshened up the place, making it a popular spot, especially on Sundays when they serve a fantastic buffet that draws in crowds, particularly after church.

During our recent visit, we opted for the regular menu. I tried the club sandwich, which was excellent, while my wife enjoyed a delicious grilled chicken salad. The food was top-notch, and we left feeling satisfied.

If you’re a local or just passing through, you can’t miss out on one of the most popular items on their buffet—the fried chicken. It’s a favorite among many, and I can see why! Thomasville Grill is definitely worth a visit for great food and a welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommend!

I visited Thomasville this weekend and ate at Thomasville Grill twice while I was there, Friday night and Sunday afternoon. I ordered a BLT of the menu Friday night and it was really good. I got the buffet Sunday afternoon and it was also really good. The food is great, the service is great, and it’s just overall a great place to eat when you’re in Thomasville. They have very friendly and helpful staff working there.

Great food. Southern comfort. I highly recommend coming to this place. They also served lunch and dinner buffet. No breakfast buffet. Great cooks. This restaurant has been the heart of the town.

Phenomenal quality breakfast: sweet ham, fried eggs over medium, hash browns, pancakes & coffee.

The food quality was simply the best breakfast I’ve eaten at a restaurant in my lifetime, and I was a cook at Denny’s in college 45 years ago.

The atmosphere is a little bleak due to the new startup and the business getting reestablished. However, if you want a superb quality breakfast in Thomasville, Alabama, then Gaston’s is where it’s at.

Enjoy! .

Stopped by two different times with a co-worker while we were in the area working. Both times were on a Monday night and it was steak night. We ordered from the menu and my co-worker got the streak and I got a bacon cheese burger. Both were very good. Good enough that when we back in the area we stopped by again. I can’t speak for the buffet, but the menu food is really good.

Left a bad review the first time. Tried it again and everything was sooooo good. Ordered off the menu this time. Food came out very fast and was hands down the best food I’ve had in Thomasville.

Great food & service. At one time it was a buffet. And you could eat until you burst. It was that good.
I had breakfast there once and the food was fantastic.

Buffet looked pretty good (large variety). We ordered from the menu. Food was good. You have to try the fried oysters. Would give 5 stars but one of the waitresses was talking very loud trying to draw attention to herself. However I do recommend this place the menu is decently priced.

Went there for the first time. Waited 10 minutes and then grabbed a soup spoon and ate my buffet meal. Asked for water. Received water and a fork 10 minutes later. Asked for butter Received margarine 10 minutes later. The food tasted all right but was filled with bacteria that gave me diarrhea the next day. I was charged $1 for water and $1 for margarine, which I would normally never eat. I was charged 15% tip for lousy service, and charged over $18 for the whole dismal experience. Also, I was never told I would have to pay the waitress at the table while I selected the tip. I will never go back. I never get sick btw from fast food.
