I’ve always recommended this place because it used to be a good, reasonably priced soul food spot. I was near the Camp Creek location, very hungry, and decided to stop in. They had a two-meat plate with two sides for $23 — I should’ve known something was off, but I got excited and ordered fried catfish and baked chicken.

Going through the cafeteria-style line, everything looked okay, but my appetite wasn’t activated. When I saw the baked chicken placed in the to-go box, I already knew I probably wouldn’t eat it because of how oversized it looked. I added mac & cheese and greens and headed home.

The mac & cheese and greens were disgusting — they tasted old. I didn’t need another bite. I ate the fried catfish, and less than five minutes later I threw up.

I will never patronize this restaurant again. Atlanta has plenty of restaurants, but finding consistently decent ones is hard!

Staff was friendly and welcoming.
The Mac and cheese and pork chop were good. The gravy was a lil too thick for me, but still flavorful. The chitterlings were good. I didn’t care for the green beans and the wings were really dry to me. I would go here again. I didn’t try the cornbread.

I was in the mood for some Soul Food when I was in ATL. I kept hearing about this spot from some of my people and went to try it. It did not disappoint! The line was wrapped around the building and I understood why. The chicken was full of flavor, the Mac and cheese were good. I meant to get greens but the green beans were and the cornbread was the absolute best! I’m glad I gave this spot a chance and will go again the next time I am in ATL.

I’ve been coming to this location since it opened and I gotta say this honestly is the best soul food, southern traditional style cooking in Atlanta. Tamika is always appreciative of my business. Asked how I’m doing. Remember my name and serves up some of the best food ever. if you’re here visiting this is a must stop if you live here this is a weekly thing for me

I was already indecisive on what I wanted to eat. I order the chop chicken and immediately spit it out. The texture is overly soggy. Doesn’t even taste like chicken . The chop they have posted is not what I received

I frequent this location and have never had a bad meal or experience. The food is delicious as the staff says when they take your order. This week, they accidentally left the drink out of my drive through order. I called to let them know. They answered tge phone right away, immediately put the manager on the phone, and she vowed to make it right.

Karen, the manager, is the best! She treats both staff and customers with kindness and care. She replaced my meal herself the next day with a smile. I really appreciate her excellent customer service.

1st time visitor… came upon this business while checking for a hotel for the night. We’re OTR TruckDrivers and was resetting our hours in Atlanta area, when we spotted this spot and decided to check it. Upon arrival we were greeted by Staff so nicely. Older Gentleman took our order and was very helpful and recommended everything. Angela checked us out and was so sweet. Food was hot and perfect to every bite. I ordered the 10 pc wings with fries. Spouse ordered the Rib Tips with Mac&Cheese and Potato Salad with cornbread and Banana pudding with a Sweet Lemonade. Food was so yummy that we started eating before I could take a nice before picture for you all. We spent $41 but it was well worth it and definitely will be returning again and again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.

I was honestly stunned the moment I walked in — the place is absolutely beautiful. The décor is elegant without trying too hard, and the upstairs balcony completely won me over. It’s the kind of space you want to sit in for a while and just enjoy.

The seafood boil was outstanding: fresh, flavorful, and seasoned perfectly. Every bite tasted like it was made with care. I couldn’t resist dessert and indulged in the sweet potato pie — and let me tell you, it was so good it could give Patti LaBelle serious competition.

Great atmosphere, great food, and definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to.
