I’m so disappointed… I literally use to eat here all the time and the food was so good when the guy with the blonde beard managed it. I just wasted my money, time, and gas going here!
I had the brisket plate, The dressing was dry & stiff as a board, cabbage literally tasted like water, brisket was tough as dinosaur toenails, Mac was decent, that was the only thing a little edible.
My dad had the rib tips, black eyed peas, and Mac.. his is exact words was this ain’t “Wuffa” damn! I’m so disappointed I spent all this money just to eat a cornbread muffin. Never going back here! I wished I had taken a pic before I threw it in the trash.
I’m literally feeling sick to my stomach right now, more than likely from the undercooked rib tips I tried from my dad’s plate. Rib tips taste like a fresh pig, that’s the best way to describe it. I have patronized this place for many years, I’m literally in disbelief how the food has changed. It use to be “delicious” the staff use to say would like to try our “delicious” cabbage or whatever dish I would order. They don’t even say that anymore so i guess it’s not so delicious anymore.

This place is amazing. The food is always hot and ready. The employees are nice. I would like to give a special shout out to the employee named DAMYA she always has a smile on her face and is very respectful and greets everyone with positive energy the food is top-tier. The restaurant is always clean and I would recommend anyone to get their food from here.

Needed a quick meal after a long 12hr work day and gym session. Sign on the front door says they are raising prices on chicken & beef. Decide to order the baked chicken, didn’t want the extra carbs but “it’s free” and opted for the rice. They cannot cook rice to save their life; rice was gummy & crunchy at the same time. The kicker was the inability to determine what piece of chicken that was beside the thighs in the pan. To my surprise I was told it was a breast….THAT WAS SPLIT! You charge $16.99 plus tax (with NO drink btw) for a 1/4 chicken meal & you are not even giving a WHOLE CHICKEN BREAST. Never again.

This is a soul food restaurant with the workings of a typical Jamaican restaurant; namely, they have everything already cooked and in front of you behind glass, and they make a platter out of whatever you order. Very simple system, and it works. It is definitely some of the best soul food I’ve had in Atlanta, including some of the moistest chicken tenders. I’ll definitely try it again if I get the chance.

When I arrived on 2/24/2026 I ordered smothered pork, chop, yellow, rice, cabbage, potato casserole, and mac & cheese. The yellow rice was salty and hard. They took more than 25 minutes to get my plate ready had to bring out more pork chop, and mac & cheese. One of the pork chops was dried fried out too hard, smothered pork chop by the way the other one was raw, not fully cooked after getting two dinner plates I end up spending 60 bucks. Everything is good but needs to work on finishing the food the proper way before serving to people.

Meh it is just okay, Mid only if you just don’t want fast food. The rice mushy. Mac and cheese not good, black eye peas undercooked. The dressing was just okay. Food on salty side. Not a lot of selections of meats and veggies. The service was nice. Plenty of seating

Their chicken tip bowl says “no sides, no bread” just a 16oz bowl of protein. They proceeded to give me mac and cheese with the chicken tips on top to cover it up. Keep in mind that’s a $20 entree on uber eats. They also forgot to give me my sweet tea and lemonade (both 1/2 gallon). I ordered this via Uber eats. They told the driver that everything was in the bag when I asked about the drinks. This particular store is trash. Don’t go here.

My ribs were I’m sure undercooked and PINK they look bloody still I’m so disgusted by this. If I could give my plate zero stars that’s exactly what I would give this. Just gross disgusting soggy ribs they tasted like they were boiled nothing like the pictures they advertised. The sauce is exactly like the lady under my review described runny oily flavorless so disappointed. The only good thing was the sides the cornbread was stale and old. I can’t believe I spent $60 on trash. I will never be coming back. Oh and the customer service was awful by the man who took my order he acted as he hated his job like no one told you to work here he just stood there waiting for me to speak instead of greeting the customer asking what I would like to order just terrible experience.

Meal = 1 meat and 2 sides. 22$ plus tax, and I added the peach cobbler. So my total bill was $32. The chicken tips were good. The peach cobbler was a four out of 10. It was too soupy.
