There was a time when this was a great place to eat, they gave you a satisfying portion of food and the price was not bad at all but things have changed big time!
I paid over 32 dollars for a chitterling dinner(8oz.) Too much money for the little bit of food.
Besides that, my collard greens had way to many stems, coleslaw was soupy, the Mac and cheese was delicious but it was a small portion, like for a child. 32 dollars!!! And I’m Still hungry!!! Never Again, they have lost my business moving forward. Over all, the food is ok, just ok, Not worth the money

Wow, so much food and delicious. Thoroughly loved the stuffing and the Mac and cheese. Turkey was really good as was the sweet potatoes.

On February 24, 2026. I visited this location as a very loyal customer. I will not visit this location any more due to how nasty and arrogant the owner Mr. JONES is. I been eating at this location since 2013 and big on service. I promise I will not step foot in his business going forward, and will ensure none of my family, and friends don’t as well. The owner is very very rude. Poor service. It’s only the owner who’s like this.

I have had better at other This Is It restaurants but this one was different. There were a lot less options and on top of that the food tasted not season but bland and the ribs I had were under cook none of this is worth what I paid I was confused because normally their food is great. Must have been a bad day

AWFUL don’t go here the food is TERRIBLE which is crazy seeing that they have several locations , but this location the cook doesn’t know how to cook . The greens tasted burnt and they didn’t even remove the stems and the Mac and cheese tasted like they poured a box of sugar it tasted really weired . The chopped bbq looked like Alpo dog food I am so made I am asking for my money back a full refund . I was on my lunch break and was really hungry so this was extremely disappointing. I also called them and asked a manager to call me back no one ever did call me. They will not get my money again

Worst BBQ I’ve ever had. The mac and cheese was completely bland with zero seasoning. The rib tips were smothered in sauce to hide the fact that they can’t make proper ribs. Potato salad was okay, fish was better than expected, but serving spoiled sweet tea was the final straw.

I ordered the catfish nuggets fried well but they were over cooked in old grease. The sweet potato souffle was brown with a pound of sugar and the cabbage greens were dark and over cooked. I was highly disappointed . I won’t be going back again. It use to be my favorite location when I lived in Smyrna. I threw most of the food in the trash and thats not something I would ever do is throw away food.

I ordered Liver dinner thru DoorDash and menu states it comes with rice and gravy but I didn’t get them, just a dry piece of liver covered in onions, the cornbread dressing was nasty, like it had 6 cups of sugar and the green beans were ok

This ant It! A Spanish lady cooking soul food. it was terrible I got smothered pork chops they were baked no galravy they were so hard not tender. Wasn’t seasoned good.
