I was staying uptown for a convention, and the hotel bar closed at 10. The front desk and bellman told me about the Thristy Palette. Not too far a walk from the Marriot, and I felt safe walking alone.
I had to wait a little bit to get to the bar because it’s really small inside. But I wasn’t in a hurry. When I finally got to the bar, I waited over 10 minutes before I got up. I ws seated pretty much in the middle of the bar. The bald man with red beard served everyone on both sides of me multiple times. I tried to order, even asked him if I was in the right place, and he constantly ignored me. When the young woman came over I asked if I could order, and she said “in a minute.” That minute never came. The 2 of them were laughing and talking and at the counter, then turned and went to opposite ends of the bar.
I bartend part-time, and I understood to a point. The rudeness was uncalled for. I doubt they will do better, but I hope so.

Best bar & bartenders on 4th st!! Large dart room in the back with TV projector and 6 TVs up front. NFL Sunday ticket, local “cheers” type vibe with featured cocktails and over 40 beers & great liquor selection. Buffalo Bills backer bar as well!

I was here for a day and found this cute little spot and let me just say……Their drinks are SOOOO good. I’m a huge drink snob and these drinks exceeded my expectations! Please trust me when I say you can’t go wrong ordering any of their drinks… they’re all THAT good.

A great place full of locals and visitors alike. It’s a bit close in the bar, but they have a very welcoming vibe here, so it didn’t feel that tight.
We dropped in at the beginning of the night, and then stopped back on our way home five hours later – the manager/bartender remembered my name, my story and what I was ordering.
Decently priced, a couple of dart boards in the back, delivery from the restaurant nextdoor, and best of all… They’ll have the Sunday Ticket this football season!

We had a great experience! We brought 9 people with us to grab drinks after a celebration. The bartender was very kind and patient despite being busy with other customers. She was also incredibly quick and the drinks were tasty too! The manager extremely hospitable and offered the celebrating couple free drinks. Thanks for making space for us. It was a great time!
