I give four stars because the view is amazing here. We were there right at lunch time on a Friday. Even then it was starting to get extremely busy. Inside was very loud. As cool as it was we opted to sit outside. Initially the service was good and we got out food fairly quickly. Then the waitress must have gotten really busy because after I got the check she didn’t come back for quite some time. We ended up being there a lot longer than we thought. We were going to do a wine tasting after lunch but it was way too busy and we decided to leave. They also only had one bathroom stall each for men and women so there were lines with all the people there. Nice place but very busy.

Service was good enough, but the food was incredibly bland. We got the salmon with risotto, and the risotto didn’t even taste salted. The wine tastings and offerings were good, but for the high price tag the food is not worth it.

Only did wine tasting. Extremely busy, crowded and felt rushed. Beautiful place though and heard good things about the food.

$18 for a tiny piece of average quiche and a poorly dressed salad that contained slimy lettuce leaves. Views are beautiful but don’t come here to eat. Was expecting something a little classier for the price point. Will add, we complained to the lovely waitress and she gave us a bottle of wine as compensation.

The wines are some of our favorites. After a few visits and bringing someone new we decided to try the Bistro huge mistake. The server was great. The food was terrible. The calamari could have used so salt and pepper but was good. The chili was super sweet and not very good. The cubans missing sauce and kinda dry. Fries were amazing. The corn fritters were extremely over cooked and was a ton of breading and just a couple kernels of corn. The fish was so over cooked it felt like you were going to break your teeth and tasted so fishy we couldn’t eat it. The kids pizza tasted like some dollar store microwave pizza and was burned. Plus my Niece never got the ice cream sandwich that was supposed to come with her meal. Yes we could have asked for it but by that time we were done and just wanted to be out of there. Will be going bqck for wine only. Never again for food.

Waited at least 45 minutes after putting in order for food to come out. I get things can be slow at times but two Grilled cheeses and three sandwiches takes 45 minutes!?! They only have 8-9 tables and wait staff seems good. The kitchen must be super slow. It’s also a bit pricey ($17 for a Cuban). That said, the food is decent and the view is fantastic.

We visited Thirsty Owl Winery & Bistro while on a winery tour for a bachelorette party. The wine was excellent and the staff in the tasting room was extremely helpful. However, we decided to head to The Bistro to grab food before moving on and we placed our order for food and waited an hour and 10 minutes for the food to come out. They were very simple items from the menu. We had to go find the waitress to tell her we needed to leave for another reservation and we were informed that there was only one Chef, however when our food arrived 10 minutes later every item that came out cold which indicated to the group that it had been sitting there for an extended period of time. It would of been nice if the staff assisting on the outside portion of the winery came out to explain why there was such an extended wait time on the food or at least to offer the group another beverage. Other than that, the wine tasting experience was good.
