Food was excellent and just what you would expect from pub and grub. It was very busy with snowmobilers but still good service. Food was fast, drinks a little slower. Would definitely recommend this place as a quick stop between here and there.

Made a stop on our way home from Lake Placid. Food was delicious. Bartender was very attentive and friendly. Got to meet the owner, who also cooks there. We will definitely be back. 100% would recommend to stop here.

Stopped for a quick pint and a trip down memory lane from decades past. While we arrived a little before opening, Margaret was kind enough to see us in and set us up with drinks.
After a Labatt and a couple stories, we realized we didn’t recognize any of the staff. After brief introductions, we learned the Thirsty Moose had sold and reopened a couple weeks prior.
The new menu looks great with fare including traditional bar food, a steak salad, Italian dishes, and homemade soups. Cleanliness also appears to be a new focus.
I’ve no doubt there will be a learning curve as the restaurant gets going and the family fills all the roles. Good luck!

Nice place, a little dated. It could probably use some upgrades, but not too much. It may lose its appeal. The service was very good, our waitress was fun and helpful, the food was good bar food, enjoyed the whole experience.

When we arrived we were the only ones there but soon a few more parties came in. There was one waitress on duty and she was absolutely amazing. She was attentive to our needs, and answered all our questions.

Always thankful to have any place nearby during the field research season to kick back and enjoy some ice water and a hot meal, this place goes above and beyond that. Stopped in towards closing to few people in the restaurant and was met with a smile from the bartender and a gesture to have a seat! I placed my order and it was done to my exact specifications in a timely manner. The owners were friendly, helpful, and personable and just great company overall. Glad I decided to stop in and recommend to anyone hungry or thirsty!

New owners are 28 times better than previous. Came in with 2 famlies, including a cold, crying 3 year old. Within minutes had a blanket, milk, fries and a coloring book, all before we had our drink order in. food was fast on a busy sunday!
