3rd Street Social was absolutely delicious from start to finish. I had the Korean steak and noodle salad, and it was outstanding—perfectly cooked, tender steak paired with fresh noodles and bold, well-balanced flavors that really stood out. Every bite felt thoughtfully put together. The ambiance truly elevates the experience as well; it’s upscale, stylish, and inviting without feeling pretentious. Between the exceptional food and the classy atmosphere, 3rd Street Social is a place that feels perfect for both a special night out and a relaxed dinner. I’ll definitely be back.

This is our second year at Third Street Social for Thanksgiving. Their meal is phenomenal—the turkey is not dry, and the sides are plentiful. The ham looked amazing as well. There are other options if you’re not a turkey fan, so everyone can enjoy the holiday. The appetizers were delicious, especially the wings, and the desserts were fantastic. I ordered an espresso martini, and it was excellent. We will definitely be back next year!

The fried half chicken was perfect. Cooked to perfection. It’s been a long time since I ate fried chicken that tasted this good. And the shrimp and grits is abo extremely flavorful. Both are good options. I was just being greddy. And the cheddar biscuits are perfect with each meal.

Stopped in for happy hour dinner and it didn’t disappoint! Shrimp tacos were divine and I wish I ordered more! Korean tacos were good, not my favorite, but I have a limited taste palate. Burnt ends and corn bread were yummy! Decided we should top it off with key lime pie —the Lock’s have the best pastry chef in town!

We had a great experience on Friday for Happy Hour. We ordered only items from the Happy Hour Menu. All the food was excellent and the service was outstanding. Tameka was our server and was top notch! We look forward to doing this again.

Girls Lunch Date with Bestie! The Blood Orange Margaritas to start. Smoked Salmon Dip to go with that. So good!!! Later… we split the Bacon Iceberg Wedge Salad and a Creamy Turkey Club with Sweet Potato Fries. OH MY Goodness!! Everything was delicious! I promise. Austin, our waiter, did a wonderful job of checking on us without interrupting conversation, but slowly clearing away dishes and asking if we needed boxes. He even tried to tempt us with dessert, but… we were so full! We split the food, making our own perfect plate, and then took the picture. Perfect girls lunch date dining experience!

I recently had two very different experiences at 3rd Street Social at both 3rd Street Social location, and I wanted to share both. Lee Summit & Main st
Lee’s Summit location — wonderful experience
The service was absolutely wonderful, and the atmosphere was warm, clean, neat, and very welcoming. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted gently and graciously by the greeter and host staff. My children and I immediately felt comfortable.
Our server, Rick, was amazing. He made us feel truly welcome and cared for. His enthusiasm stood out, and he took time to explain the menu, talk about the food, and check in with us. The environment felt calming and inviting, the restaurant was spacious, and the food was great. I have nothing negative to say about the Lee’s Summit location — it was a very positive experience.
Main Street location — disappointing experience
Unfortunately, my experience at the Main Street location was very different. When we arrived, the greeting felt impolite and unwelcoming. The service was poor, and the waitress seemed uninterested in serving our table and more focused on the bar. Her energy felt dismissive, which made us uncomfortable receiving service from her.
I asked to speak with a manager (Jamie), but no one came out and I never received a call back after leaving a message. My daughter and I ultimately decided to leave because the service did not make us feel cared for or respected. We were told we couldn’t sit in a booth due to staffing, yet another guest who arrived after us was seated there. That added to the frustration and confusion. And since my daughter and I were sitting close to the bar the hostess went to the young lady at the bar explain to her that she has a table the young lady show clear frustration that she didn’t want to host, my daughter and I clearly heard her say” is there anyone else?” That’s when it came very clear to me that she didn’t want to serve us, and I didn’t want negative energy around my food.
Because of this experience, I would rate the Main Street location very low and would not recommend it based on the service we received.
Overall:
Lee’s Summit delivered an excellent, welcoming dining experience with great service and atmosphere.
The Main Street location, however, did not meet those same standards during our visit. I hope improvements are made there, because the brand clearly has the potential to provide outstanding hospitality.
Thank you 3rd Street Social in Lee Summit.

Was I ever HUNGRY when I stepped into Third Street Social. But little did I know, I was about to experience a taste sensation that would…

From the moment I laid eyes on the menu, I was intrigued by the Korean Steak Tacos. Bulgogi-marinated steak, jasmine rice, and a medley of fresh veggies – how could I resist? As the server placed that first taco in front of me, the aroma alone had my mouth watering.

But would the flavors live up to the enticing description? I took a tentative first bite, fully expecting an average taco experience. Boy, was I in for a surprise.

The moment that perfect blend of savory, sweet, and spicy hit my taste buds, I was transported to south Korea of culinary delight. I quickly devoured the rest, already craving the rest of Third Street Social’s inspired menu.

If you’re a foodie looking to expand your palate and discover new flavor sensations, Third Street Social is a wonderful option. My only regret is the noise level—too loud—not great for elderly parents with hearing impaired.

I ordered the fries and Korean Steak Tacos from the Happy Hour. The fries were crispy, had good flavor, and garlic aioli sauce paired perfectly with them. This was definitely the star of the show for me. The Korean Steak Taco was good. The steak was slightly juicy and it had good flavor.

I also ordered a drink from the happy hour menu and it was also good. Overall, I would say this was a good experience and the service was good as well. I definitely plan on coming back here whenever I’m in the area.
