We tried this bakery since it got such good reviews. The place is pretty small, and when we were waiting in line, we had to wait in the vestibule because the line was too long. Made it more challenging when we got to the front because you couldn’t see the display case to make a decision until at the counter. We tried pretty much one of everything, all the flavors of donuts, cookie cream pie, brownie, cake pop and chocolate chip cookie. Honestly, cannot say they tasted all that good. I wish I could. I love dessert, and I didn’t want to finish mine. Felt like it needed lots more butter and sugar and was pretty bland. I understand the gluten free, vegan concept, but I know there are lots of vegan options for those things now. Also, the water cups they give you are basically a shot glass, we had to refill them 3-5 times. Probably won’t be back.

This is definitely my favorite bakery in Traverse City! Everything here is gluten free, and almost everything is vegan, so I can eat here without worry (cream puffs and cake rolls contain egg). The staff is always friendly and makes great recommendations. If you have any concerns, they always explain the items well. Every baked good I have tried from them has been amazing (some items don’t even taste gluten free or vegan). The coffee is really good as well. Even though the baked goods are pricey (due to fair wages and using ingredients that accommodate most diets), every penny is worth it. I would give this place 10 stars if I could!

Delicious gluten-free donuts. Delicious coffee. That should be enough review, however here’s more. The service was outstanding and while small the cafe is adorable. Would 10 out of 5 go back and sample more goodies. Please check this place out! You won’t regret it.

Wow this place is impressive! The workers were so friendly and welcoming. We had cinnamon rolls, a French toast donut, and the zebra donut. We loved everything! The cinnamon rolls were very sweet and had a nice cinnamon glaze. The donuts were our favorite, soft and excellent flavor. We will be stopping here every time we visit TC.

I didn’t realize this place didn’t have regular milk, which was on me, they did tell me that when I got in there to order. But they also told me that oat milk tastes the exact same as regular milk. And it cost an extra $1 to have that. $19 and 2 drinks later, very disappointed. We got the mifudgy and a mocha cherry. Not good at all. Very strange taste, took 2 sips and tossed. We will not be back.

A family favorite! Their brownies are amazing. We can order anything here without worrying about gluten or dairy sensitivities. And they serve vegan treats too! We are thankful for this place and their friendly staff.

All gluten-free sweet treats. The coffee is tasty, so is everything else. We enjoyed being able to purchase everything, without worry, for our gluten adverse friends. It is a quick stop, very nicely decorated, with great parking. Cakes, cookies, pies, donuts, cinnamon rolls and more. All your favorite staples for desserts, snacks, even bread and croutons.

Everytime my spouse and I come to TC we always make a stop at Third Coast. I have Celiac’s and it is so nice to find places completely dedicated to gluten free individuals. Unfortunately, our visits were mediocre this visit ( we stopped in twice during our weekend). The donuts were drier than I remember and a bit too dense. Also, I was shocked to pay 8.25 for latte with a $1.50 upcharge for alternative oat milk. I understand how expensive organic/gluten free/alternative options are but over $8 for a latte?! Woah, I will not buy latte’s here again at that price. We have a gluten free bakery we go to in GR regularly and their lattes aren’t even close to that expensive. I wish we would have been informed of the upcharges before purchase(including .50 upcharge for cream cheese with bagels) but we weren’t informed. As many people with Celiac disease are also lactose intolerant, it boggles my mind that the upcharge was this much. Also, the bathroom trash was overflowing when we stopped in earlier in the day and the staff member taking our order the second visit was extremely unfriendly. It made us very uncomfortable. Thankfully, our first visit was encountered with a more enjoyable employee. I have had such positive experiences in the past so I still rated the bakery high, but this time overall I would give it a 3/5. I am hoping our visit next time is much improved.

Coffee was average cinnamon roll was average pumpkin donut not anything to write home about. People were very friendly and atmosphere was inviting. I gave it 4 out of 5 I just like the bake goods or the coffee but I love friendly people that are doing their best to provide a product and service. And maybe it’s just my opinion and others may find they like the coffee and baked goods. I wish them the best . I would suggest if you get the cinnamon roll to heat it up and I wouldn’t get the coffee take your cinnamon roll to go and go to Starbucks
