We have been here about four times since they opened in the spring. Service is excellent, and we’ve had to wait a few minutes to be seated twice. We’ve had the same server the last two visits, and she has been attentive and friendly. I’ve enjoyed a burger, chicken wings, the steak sandwich, and most recently, the Big Daddy 1/2-lb hot dog. Photos include the Big Daddy, the steak sandwich, and a chicken Caesar wrap.

It’s a family-friendly sports bar and grill. They have a good beer selection, with multiple IPAs. Third Base Grill will stay in our regular rotation.

I visited for lunch for the first time. Ashley was my waitress. She was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with the ordering process.
The food arrived in reasonable time and I enjoyed it.
I ordered the build a burger, which was the special of the day, with onion rings.
If you’re in the area, stop by.

The atmosphere is great! They have some really awesome sports memorabilia and it’s also for sale. I had the taco salad with chicken and besides the fact that it was huge it was absolutely delicious. It’s one of the best salads I’ve ever eaten. The husband had a bacon cheeseburger and tots and he couldn’t even finish the burger. I stole a bite because the bun looked so fresh and it was!

Quick service and waitress is very attentive. We had the fish platter and shrimp platter. App was the pull apart cheese, bacon, and jalapeno bread. The appetizer was cold in the middle and the cheese was not melted. The fish was very greasy and soaked with grease. The hush puppies and fries were great.

Went in for the 1st time. Sunday evening. They have booths, tables, & bar chairs. Lots of sports TVs. I liked the vibe. Our server, Laci, was the bomb. Attention to detail. She’s a teacher. Soo much respect.
The food was great! French dip w/ homemade horse radish. Onion rings and a nice salad. A group of 14 ppl came in and were seated, welcomed, and served. Going back. Enjoy!

First time for us, and really enjoyed it! Wasn’t very busy, but the football game he wanted to watch was on, so he was happy! Really good food & very reasonable prices! Scarlett is a very sweet server!

Traveling from PA to Williamsburg, just stopped here real quick with no real expectations. We loved it. Staff were great, found their way around to all tables in a reasonable time. The food was way better than we anticipated. The grilled chicken on the salad was awesome, fries had a nice seasoning with a slight spiciness, the grilled cheese was outstanding… We got way more than we bargained for. Only disappointing thing is that we don’t live in VA so we have to wait until next year’s vacation to eat there again! But this is the best way we can say thank you for a great meal. Highly recommend!

Hanover Third Base Grill is really bad compared to the New Kent location.

The waitress brought a can of Guinness—no glass.

Waitress brought out the wings on a tray with silverware and just 2 napkins—no plates. Not sure what she thought we were going to do with a fork, knife and spoon with an order of wings. We had to eat the wings on the two napkins they brought us.

The celery was so old, it was discolored almost brown and it was so soft it bended and would not snap. We told her to take them off the table and had to explain to her what celery is supposed to look like.

The place is about half the size inside as New Kent and they had a band that was obnoxiously loud. So we asked to sit out side, which is the designated smoking area.

So you had a choice of hearing damage or smelling smoke while eating.

The wings also seemed smaller than the ones we’ve always gotten at the New Kent location.

Never again. We’ll stick to the New Kent location, which has always been a 5-star experience.

Ordered a from the bar a to-go order, didn’t even get my side, no tots no fries ect. I waited 10 minutes after my food came out to pay. Bartender wasn’t tending the bar. Running frantically everywhere though it wasn’t that busy. Paid $16.42 for one dry over cooked piece of meat. I did get a side of ketchup to go with my none existing tater-tots. Not driving 17 min back.

First time checking this place out since it has fairly recently opened right down the road from our house. The inside is nice. Full bar, TVs on all the walls. Outdoor seating available. For apps we ordered the boom boom shrimp and the Kait’s Crazy fries. My husband and I both agreed that the fries weren’t all that Krazy. The fries themselves were good. But to be called Krazy fries they were lacking toppings for us. For the shrimp, I felt they were a little over fried. Not burnt but very close to it, but my husband liked them.
Entrees we got the Philly cheese steak and the BLT. We both got onion rings. Onion rings are good, just your standard onion rings. I wasn’t the biggest fan of my BLT. I felt it was dry, more Mayo would really have helped it along. My husband was ok with his Philly but said the same thing, that some mayonnaise really would have been great. Not really sure what the sour cream we were both served with our entrees was for? But maybe that’s lost on us somehow. The Mango habanero sauce that came with the fries was pretty good. Drinks were on point.
Our waitress and all the other ladies in there all seemed super friendly and attentive to us and the other customers. No complaints at all there. Over all we’d go back to try some other foods, but it was very mid for us.
