I’ve lived near this place for at least 10 years and just recently decided to try it. I’m upset I didn’t try it sooner. The service and quality of food is phenomenal. Upon walking in, I was immediately greeted and told I could sit anywhere I liked. They got me a menu, a drink, and took my order all with no wait. My lasagna dinner included garlic rolls and a choice of soup or salad. I opted for the soup, and had a generous portion of Pasta e fagioli. While waiting for my dinner, I observed a small but efficient kitchen, took note of the classic pizzeria interior—complete with Tiffany table lamps bearing their namesake in stained glass. The lasagna was tasty, plenty of cheese and a hearty meat sauce. The background music was exactly the type of music I’d expect, although from where I was seated I could hear audio from two different speakers and they were slightly off sync from each other creating a sort of echo that could certainly irritate audiophiles. They seem to do a steady take out business, in addition to their dining room being open. Staff were all wearing masks and tables were being cleaned between guests. Overall 5/5 stars. I’ve had better Italian food, but I really can’t remember when.
