My husband and I met for lunch and have been wanting to try TheWanderingAsian. It was a rainy day and perfect for a car picnic. We ordered the Willy Bowl with chicken, beef and shrimp sautéed with onions over rice, cabbage and carrots it was delicious. The spicy Asian mayo added a hint of heat (not too spicy though- I don’t do heat so it was perfect for me. The snap of the carrots and cabbage were so fresh and light and such a great combo with the meat and rice. It was a huge portion. We couldn’t finish it all and one of us will be having leftovers for lunch tomorrow. The service was friendly and super quick! Highly recommend!

The Wandering Asian Food Truck in Oak Harbor is a gem. We grabbed Spam Musubi (delicious and hot) and took a Willy Good Wrap to go — it’s big enough to feed two people easily, and you’ll be stuffed. The only “problem” is I can’t stop thinking about how good it was. We were even offered a free beverage with our meal, which was such a nice touch. Service was quick, and we barely waited at all. If we had known ahead of time that you can call in orders, we probably would have. I’ll definitely be eating here again.

Came to visit and decided to stop by and give it a try! The owner is super friendly and nice! The food tastes absolutely amazing! We got the Willy Good Wrap, some Musubi, and potstickers! The Wrap is massive and stuffed with so much meat definitely recommend everyone to try!

I “wandered” by the wandering Asian by accident. I heard about this food truck but never knew where it was at. Let me tell you, that chicken rice bowl was AMAZING! All the different components like the pickled carrots, spicy mayo and the rice and finely chopped chicken which i loved. Chefs kiss. I was bummed I ordered only one to share.

I just had food here for the first time, and oh my goodness! I am so sad I have been missing this until now! I got the shrimp bowl, it was fantastic! And so much food! I could eat this for a few days, but I don’t think it will last that long! My mouth is SO happy!

Food is great, different from your typical asian go-to restaurants. The balance of the ingredients are on point including the right amount of meat , the staff are very nice and generous to its customers. Easy to eat and quick service! If you want to try something new and get out of your routine restaurant picks, you should try this one.

Friendly staffs as always. Owner of the food trailer always serves food after hours if they are not sold out. He will make it fresh for you since some people can’t make it after 4pm. Just don’t mind the longer wait. They are new and working very hard to make yummy food for the community. Go and support them!
