There’s a reason Theo’s Family Restaurant is an icon in Greer.
Stopped in for lunch today and it absolutely delivered. The burger was fantastic — cooked just right, juicy, and packed with flavor. The fries were crispy and fresh (exactly how they’re supposed to be), and the slaw? Some of the best I’ve had anywhere. That alone is worth the visit.
You can tell this place has been doing it right for a long time. Great food, no nonsense, just consistently solid.
If you’re anywhere near Greer and craving a legit lunch, Theo’s is the move.

For the most part, really enjoy the food from here. Excellent greasy diner. Always get it to go though. Really enjoy the onion rings and club sandwich. However if you get the club salad, you get more ham than salad. I was getting nauseous eating it. Threw away half of the ham. It was just way too much. Thought I ordered the hamazon! And if you pay for extra dressings, you don’t always get them. So double check your order or let your DoorDash person know.

never in a million years would I have thought I’d be writing a bad review. The first time I ate here my food was very good so tonight I decided this is where my family would eat. I order the pork chop plate with mashed potatoes and gravy and Mac and cheese for my 2 kids under 2 to split. As soon as I got home and opened the plate to feed my kids I moved the bread and began feeding my almost 1yr old daughter the mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. Then I moved on to a piece of pork chop, I looked at the bread and noticed 2 specs. The specs were indeed baby roaches, I’ve posted a video on my Facebook page, and I’ll be adding the video below. Instead of them owning up and sincerely apologizing they tried to tell me it was bread from the toaster. I’m livid that my kids ate off of this plate. They weren’t truly genuine with their apologies and just wanted me out of their establishment by giving me a refund for that plate even though I had spent $50. I’ll never go back, and I hope yall check yall food before you get to throwing down on it. This happened tonight dec 16 2025

I asked for an extra cocktail sauce after ordering a shrimp and fish plate today and was told it would be $1.25 extra on a $17 plate.Also all this burnt stuff was put on my plate. Ive have been going here religiously over the past 6 months. I will never go here again!

My family of four just had lunch there today and it was fantastic! The food was delicious. The portions are enormous. Our server was great. It has a wonderful family atmosphere and all four of us highly recommend it !
