I went in to get donuts for work. There were several people ahead of me. I waited in line until it was my turn. The lady behind the counter called for the next person. I walk up to the counter and she walks away and helps the lady behind me. I made a comment about her skipping over me. No apology. The donuts were just ok at best. The donuts are dry. I won’t be going back.

“The consistency of this place leaves much to be desired, which is disappointing for a donut shop. One would expect freshly made, warm glazed donuts at 7 am. Unfortunately, despite their assurance of having just made some, I received a day-old donut instead. Such an experience is simply unacceptable. I just had the best glazed donut ever! It was So light and melt in your mouth delicious and warm. This place is the best. Got there around 8:45 am and no beignets but I now see they are not on the menu. Too bad as I bet all their stuff is delicious!

When we first walked in, the lady behind the counter gave us a go-to hell look. There were only a few types of donuts available. I asked about chocolate donuts and was given a rude reply. I ordered a dozen plain donuts and was corrected and told they were called glazed donuts. I said that would be all. She said, “You don’t want the chocolate donuts, and I said no. Paid $12 for a dozen plain donuts and was treated poorly. The lady behind the counter has no business dealing with customers. The donuts do taste good and are hot, but because of her, I will not be going back.

What an amazing place! We went here for a snack after lunch and the wonderful lady running the shop (the owner I believe) was super kind. We are on a visit from Phoenix, so King Cake is a new thing to us. She told us about her shop and we got the last King Cake she had on hand.
She was so kind and friendly. It was a nice experience. I look forward to digging into this cake later.
