Fantastic overall experience! The mocktails were delicious. The dynamite shrimp appetizer was a great start and the Yellowstone Filet was cooked to perfection. The fries were inedible. They were so over-seasoned that the four people in my family were unable to even eat them. I have ordered food from Yellowstone a dozen times or more and never had something this disgusting. I called to ask if this was a new thing and was told this is how they do their fries. Utterly unedible.

This was such a treat for our family. The server, Eric, was delightful and attentive. The flavors of the food on the dishes we ordered was on point. Our children had mocktails that were beautiful and tasty. The cocktails were made with expert detail. I appreciate this high end dining experience for this town. A gem! Spinach Artichoke dip was rich, creamy and delicious. The Yellowstone Filet was cooked to perfection. Mashed potatoes with just the right amount of flavor. Highly recommended!

The food was very good, and certainly unique. However, it wasn’t better than a few other local steak houses. What you’re really paying for is the service (Excellent!) and atmosphere. While the atmosphere is generally as unique as the food, I had one negative that probably isn’t there from March thru October: It was cold. We were seated by a window, which didn’t help, but my wife said the bathroom was cold, too. Still, it was beautiful and cozy (very few table compared to a steak house), and, as I said, the service was excellent.

This was our first visit to the Yellowstone and we were both excited and hopeful. However, as high priced as this restaurant is our experience was horrible. We waited a long time to be approached and offered menus and even longer for the server to take our order. Our dinner salads weren’t brought out until after our entrees and after we had to ask. The rice was under cooked, crunchy, and tasted a day late. The salmon was good however the Maple Dijon glazed chicken was dry and without much flavor. Our server was not attentive and more concerned with the bigger parties. So disappointed in the overall experience especially for the cost.

Went to The Yellowstone for dinner on a Friday night. Our friends had a reservation and we were seated immediately. The decor was wonderful and I liked the little light on the table. The food was great as I had the Caesar Salad with Steak. The service was great as my glass of water was never empty. Looking forward to coming back.

The ambiance is stellar. We arrived at Happy hour. We had a Rose, Bloody Mary and a Whiskey Sour. The drinks were phenomenal, matter of fact the Whiskey Sour is one of the best I ever had! We ordered Spinach Dip and Spicey shrimp for appetizers and split a Fish and Chips.
Yellowstone Restaurant is a hidden gem. We will definitely be back when we are in the Bannock area!

The steak fillet was amazing, I paired it with the shrimp that was done perfect. My wife got the Dijon glaze chicken, it was also amazing. Our waiter Gibril was fantastic and deserves a raise. Cannot wait to come back and try something else!
