From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm, cozy, and welcoming like stepping into a rustic cabin with so much character and detail in every corner. The handcrafted woodwork, soft lighting, and peaceful vibe make it a place you actually want to sit and stay for a while.
The food is fresh, wholesome, and clearly made with care. Every ingredient tastes high-quality and thoughtfully prepared. The sandwiches are packed with flavor, the bread tastes freshly baked, and the portions are generous without feeling heavy. Their soups and salads are just as impressive like simple, clean, and satisfying.
What really stands out is the hospitality. The staff are kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly, creating an experience that feels personal rather than rushed. our order was Gobbler, Reuben and sandwiches as well as drinks were Mango mate, Green drink and Home tea. dessert were sweet potato pound cake, Brownie and Carrot cake.
Whether you’re stopping in for a quiet coffee, a healthy lunch, or a relaxed dinner, Yellow Deli delivers comfort, quality, and charm all in one place. Definitely a spot worth visiting again and again!
Really tasty food, loved the sweet potato pound cake
This is the first in a while I did not need to add anything to my food, as they know how to cook.
The waiter was great, the atmosphere relaxing, just really enjoyed ourselves.
Looking forward to the next time, whether it be here in Plymouth, or at one of thier many other locations around the world.
Thanks, Yellow Deli !
The Yellow Deli in Plymouth is absolutely incredible. It has such a warm, welcoming vibe — like something out of a Pilgrim Thanksgiving scene. The furniture, décor, and atmosphere make you feel right at home.
The food never disappoints! My favorite is the wild Alaskan salmon — it’s rare to find wild fish these days. The garden salad is always fresh, and the desserts are amazing. The drinks are great too.
The staff are so friendly and attentive, and you can tell they really care about the details. Plus, they’re open 24/7 (except Sunday), which is so convenient. There’s even a little store next door!
Every time we come to Plymouth, we stop by The Yellow Deli — it never disappoints. Highly recommend!
Let’s start with how we found this gem. After leaving the Plimoth Museum Grist Mill, we were feeling a bit peckish, so I started driving around aimlessly (not being from MA) and stumbled into the most charming little town — straight out of a movie. I parked for free near a cute yellow house, got out, and instantly noticed this adorable yellow deli and bakery that just pulled us right in.
We figured we’d grab something light or shareable, but first had to find the entrance — which was a fun little adventure in itself. The property includes a bakery, a restaurant, and what I believe is a separate house where they do their baking. Once inside the restaurant, we were warmly greeted and seated at a cozy window booth overlooking the quaint town streets.
The atmosphere was pure New England charm — imagine a cozier, more storybook version of Cracker Barrel mixed with a rustic cabin feel. The décor tied perfectly into the local history of Plymouth and the Pilgrims’ voyage, creating a space that feels both homey and historic.
Pro tip: you have to check out the restroom! The restaurant uses an old-fashioned pulley system to send food up to the upstairs deck — one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen.
Now, the food… wow. We ordered their signature Deli Rose sandwich, which came with house-made potato chips (at least, they sure tasted like it!). The sandwich itself was perfection — fresh deli meat, tomatoes, and an unexpected touch of ketchup that somehow tied it all together beautifully. The chips were crispy, delicious, and the perfect side.
My son ordered the Mango Maté, which he absolutely loved. Then I spotted someone getting the banana bread, and of course, we couldn’t resist. It was warm, naturally sweetened with banana (not too sugary), and topped with melted salted butter that balanced the flavors perfectly.
Everything — from the setting to the service to the food — was such a memorable experience. If you ever find yourself in the Plymouth area, you must stop in. It’s one of those rare finds that feels like a scene out of a storybook. ☕
The ambiance is a little different compared to others (in a good way!). It felt like you were taken back in time, and they played into the Plymouth area well. It is warm, cozy, and invites you to put the phone down and just talk with whomever you’re with.
Staff was very friendly (as always)! Service was good. Love chit chatting with the Yellow Deli people.
Food was great too. We had the soup of the day, a sandwich, and a salad. The food is refreshing and flavorful. The bread is very good.
I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants to escape reality for a bit and have a good bite to eat.
