Fresno’s newest Indian restaurant is bringing traditional dishes …
Reviews
The food was excellent, with great quality and generous portions. The prices matched the quality and quantity perfectly. Everything we ordered tasted amazing.
We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming back again. I will also recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. Highly recommended!
All the dishes were delicious but the ones that stood out to us was the Shaam Savera (Spinach and cheese dumplings), Kashmiri Naan, Shahi Tukda (Bread and Milk pudding desser)
We highly recommend and will be back! ✨️
Once seated, the overall ambiance was acceptable—modern and in line with many contemporary Indian restaurants, though not particularly upscale. At the time of our visit, the bar was not operational, likely due to the pending liquor license, and mocktails were offered as an alternative. We ordered the Aam Panna, which was serviceable but not-memorable.
We began our meal with appetizers. The raj kachori lacked the expected crispiness and was heavily saturated with yogurt and tamarind chutney; I would rate it a 5 out of 10. Next, we tried the hara masala bhuna paneer, which, in my opinion, was undercooked. A longer sear could have enhanced the flavor and texture. While the paneer itself was hot, the chutney layered on top was noticeably cold, giving the dish a “last minute assemble” feel rather than that of a thoughtfully prepared appetizer. The fish pakora was enjoyable but did not stand out. Additionally, there was some confusion regarding the non-vegetarian platter; the items described by the server did not match what was ultimately served, which consisted of two chicken items and one fish dish.
Overall, the restaurant feels like a moderately average Indian establishment aspiring to position itself as upscale restaurant. There is a lot of room for improvement, particularly in staff training and service coordination. With the addition of a functioning bar and greater attention to culinary execution, it has the potential to become a more compelling dining destination. At present, it feels more like a one-time visit. I would consider returning in the future if consistent positive feedback suggests meaningful improvements have been made.
Their mocktails were the best .
The servers were friendly and smiling but little interfering, they should keep minimal interaction with the guests .
Will be back to try their other dishes .
They really need a lunch menu. Like I said, with a relatively pricey menu to begin with, it only makes sense to have a less expensive lunch menu. Just my opinion.
The space is elegant and thoughtfully designed, making it perfect for a relaxed dinner or a special night out. Service was excellent and warm. Khushpreet took wonderful care of us and made sure everything flowed smoothly.
We ordered Shabnam ke Moti, Chandi Kaliyan, Nalli Rogan Josh, and DumBiryani, along with Rasmali and a Guava Mocktail. Every single dish was delicious. The flavors we rich, balanced, and clearly made with care. The Nalli Rogan Josh was especially comforting and full of depth, and the Dum Biryani was fragrant and satisfying. Ending the meal with Rasmali was the perfect touch, and the Guava Mocktail was refreshing.
Great food, great service, and great ambience. Highly recommend and definitely looking forward to coming back.
