The Yard Thai Cuisine is a great local joint that never disappoints. Service is friendly and very attentive when it comes to refills. The menu has a great variety but my favorite is the curry.
I’ve gotten the Pineapple Curry in the past, but this time I tried the Pumpkin Curry and it was really good. The sauce was creamy, full of flavor and had a great kick from the spice. The chucks or pumpkin are a great addition and have a subtle sweetness. However, I do think the curry’s could have more chicken.
That aside, this restaurant is the place to go for a quick, well priced and delicious meal.

I really liked the food here. I had Pas Thai and my wife had green Curry and they were both very good. It’s a smaller place which is nice as you get good attention.

Wonderful little Thai restaurant nestled in a little shopping area. I had the papaya salad and it was amazing. Very fresh and super authentic. They weren’t shy with the spiciness, but it wasn’t too spicy to be inedible (in other words, just spicy enough).

I found this place on a work trip and I’m so glad I did. The food is authentic with good portions and amazing taste. The service was great and staff are super friendly. I ordered take out at the counter and it took about ten minutes for my food to be ready. I opted for papaya salad and pad see eew. Both were excellent. I also appreciate the premade to go condiments like the dry chili and chili in fish sauce. The menu is robust so I’ll definitely be coming back. If you like authentic Thai food in a relaxing and friendly environment, you must try this place. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I normally go to a different Thai restaurant in Agoura, but some friends highly recommended The Yard so I had to give it a try. They said it was closer to authentic than the other place. I ordered a combination of what I normally get and some other dishes. I had dinner guests, so I could order more than normal. Everything was delicious, super tasty. Leftovers the next day were better than other Thai leftovers, which is the ultimate test. And, yes, this probably is more authentic. I’ll be back next time I want Thai food, even if it means driving a little farther

Really yummy pad Thai! I’m pretty picky about my noodles firmness, but the chefs did their noodles well: no sogginess! Great flavor and big portions too.
Parking lot has ample space.

Food was seasoned so well. Staff really bubbly sweet and attentive. In these pictures is the Crying Tiger Beef, the Thai Noodle soup, and the green curry (with tofu) (it was incredible). We will definitely come back.

My wife and I absolutely love this place! Although we have plenty of Thai restaurants nearby, we always choose to drive the extra distance to come here—it’s that good. The staff is incredibly polite and genuinely thoughtful. They go above and beyond, especially when it comes to accommodating my vegetarian wife. For example, they proactively ask questions like, “Is it okay if the dish includes fish sauce?”—something no other Thai restaurant has done without us bringing it up first.
The spice level is perfect for us—we love it very spicy, and they deliver every time. Their Tom Yum soup is absolutely delicious. As a meat eater, I have to say their Crying Tiger dish is the best I’ve ever had. The meat is tender, packed with flavor, and served in generous portions. My wife always enjoys her drunken noodles—they’re rich in flavor and consistently satisfying. Even our little one looks forward to their perfectly cooked fried egg.
This place has become a go-to for our family. Great people, amazing food—we’ll always keep coming back!

We enjoyed dinner at The Yard Thai restaurant. We’re vegetarian, and we had no problem finding suitable options for our meal. My wife ordered the mussaman curry with tofu and white rice, while I had the khao soi curry egg noodle soup. This was my first time trying khao soi curry egg noodle soup, and I have to say it was very delicious. It seems like a combination of a curry dish, but with noodles. So if you’re in the mood for curry and noodles, this is the dish to order. I have not seen this dish on any other Thai menus.
I recommend you give this neighborhood Thai restaurant a visit.

Check this spot out for the curry and I was nearby. It’s in a plaza with a lot of other restaurants.
There’s limited outdoor seating but I chose the indoor because the air conditioning was just right. I ordered the pineapple curry with chicken(perfectly cooked tender white chicken pieces and the spice was just right), Calamari(great appetizer to start off with and the sauce was amazing) & Thai ice tea with boba(a great beverage to go with the whole meal.
I’d definitely come back here again and try their bbq chicken or orange chicken next time.
