The good news.This is a nice place. A nice little bar inside. Plenty of seating outside and firepit. The bad news. I just want to post a heads up. If you like Haku gluten free vodka, it is $30 per drink as opposed to $16 average for most other drinks. Would have been courteous to inform us that drink is a premium.

Great quality food, attentive service and excellent outdoor space in the back. Live music played while we ate and the band was great. Our large group of 8 was accommodated immediately and there were no issues with individual tabs. They certainly earned every bit of the autogratuity and more!

The Yard is a great place for Sunday football. Every major game was playing simultaneously and their brunch menu is served alongside their full menu (until 2pm). Plenty of options for everyone! They make a lot of their syrups in-house, which is a testament to their dedication to quality as well. Customer experience was as good as you can get. Although they were busy, the staff took time to engage in conversation and were very friendly while multitasking. Overall great experience and I can’t wait to come back!

It’s me and my boyfriends first time in Ventura (California in general) from Texas! I found this place through Google. First impressions: staff is very friendly! Sophia, our waitress, was really spirited and upbeat, giving great service and very helpful recommendations. With her help, I ordered a cucumber refresher from the cocktail menu and absolutely loved it! My boyfriend ordered a Johnny Walker 805 beer and liked it as well. For food, I ordered the chicken sandwich. (10/10) Chicken was cooked nicely and the breading was crispy. My boyfriend ordered the Morning Burger with an egg. Burger was juicy and cooked at a very beautiful medium rare! He also liked the crispness of the bacon(10/10). After walking some of the strip, we decided to come back and check out the back bar and outside area which is really nice. I enjoyed the music and friendliness of this place!

Two friends and I watched the Dodger game on Monday at the Yard and enjoyed happy hour drinks, a few appetizers, and dinner. Good food, great service, and fun atmosphere! Will definitely return.
Update a month later: still a fun time and great cocktails but today the appetizers were not as good, Nachos with carnitas were cold, and the onion petals were undercooked. Will try again soon.

Love! Amazing sweet and savory caption crunch tenders! Honey mustard sauce was a tiny bit too sweet for my liking but I enjoyed it all the same! We had a few cool cocktails and my fiance enjoyed the guacho burger and fries! We also had a really hot pub pretzel with 3 different sauces! Our server was very attentative and helpful!

Ventura’s best burgers on Main Street and beyond! I make it a point to eat here and hang every time I’m in Ventura.
The Captain Crunch Chicken strips are amazing and can be enjoyed with or without sauce.
But it’s the Brisket/Ground Beef burgers that keep me coming back. The atmosphere is always chill and the beer is always ice cold.
