Definitely try this one out, unfortunately they aren’t open on Sunday’s. So schedule some time to visit this gem on one of the other days like we did. I spoke with the staff and until the influx of customers picks up, their hours will remain the same for now.
This little joint is right in the heart of Yantis and had been redone in and out, apparently for the better. So if it’s been a while since your family hadn’t eaten here or your looking for a cool new place with friendly people try this place and you won’t be disappointed.
God Bless.
Today my husband and I went for breakfast. They did not appear to be very busy. Only 2 tables @ about 1030. Our waitress was very sweet. My husband had cf steak and eggs. He said it was good. I had the grand slam. I asked to replace ham with sausage and to remove green peppers as I am allergic. The plate was initially brought out with ham and no green peppers. The waitress did return to have corrected. The plate then was brought out with no ham but they did add green peppers. I only ate the biscuit and home fries. What I did eat was good. The server came to the table 2 more times, once to take my husbands empty plate. I was disappointed that she never asked why I didn’t touch my eggs.
I was a server and also owned a restaurant. It’s so very important for the server to ensure the food and customer experience are superior. That’s how you get return customers. That did not appear to be the case.
Even at checkout we were not asked how everything was. Feedback is vital to a restaurant.
Best of luck Yantis Cafe!
