Las Vegas’ Most Expensive Hot Pot! Unlimited Live Seafood & A5 …
Reviews
He took the time to ask about our taste preferences and allergies, then gave thoughtful recommendations that ended up being spot on. You can tell he really cares about the guest experience.
To top it all off, he even arranged for a robot to come over and sing Happy Birthday to our table, which made the celebration so fun and memorable.
Ryan truly gave us 5-star service and made our night special. Highly recommend asking for him if you visit!
On another note everything was de-li-cious! The atmosphere was classy and impressive. I’m definitely going to return. Highly recommended.
You each get your own pot! We opted for the oxtail tomato soup which was rich and bold in flavor and the tom yum which had the right amount of spice. Aside from the fancy presentation, the wagyu meat and seafood was fresh. The oysters were buttery and melts in your mouth. Our favorite was the Japanese a5 wagyu ribeye which had a balanced fat and lean cut. The crispy pork and black pepper a5 wagyu was our favorite appetizer! The red lobster sashimi was a miss for me personally as I found it to be too citrus. The foie gras Wagyu fried rice with black truffle was a nice small bowl portion with great flavors. We also tried the Wagyu zhajiang noodle which needed to be in a bigger bowl to mix it thoroughly and thought it needed a bit more black bean sauce to noodle ratio. If you have room in your stomach for dessert (which is chef’s choice), definitely order that and the swan cake if you like salty egg yolk and black sesame flavors.
The restaurant was clean and atmosphere was intimate but not too loud to hold a conversation over eating. The bathroom was also clean but a little dark to keep with the whole vibe of the restaurant.
Overall, this experience was definitely worth the price point. I would recommend this place just for the experience and service alone.
I didn’t feed my phone camera before I ate but I did manage the capture the oysters and swan cake.
For the price, it was somewhat reasonable value and experience. The 1 hour 30 min time limit makes it a bit of a rush. Some mistakes in service, but mostly was good
★★★★★ 5/5
Stepping into The X Pot immerses you in a culinary theater where every detail, from the warm lighting to polished surfaces, heightens anticipation. The low, deliberate lighting casts a soft glow over bronze and obsidian, while plush booths invite intimate conversations. Sculptural fixtures emit amber islands of light, creating a chiaroscuro that tantalizes the senses and sets the stage for the gastronomic journey ahead. The sleek geometric lines and metallic accents frame each dish as if it were a work of art, drawing you into a refined, immersive experience.
Our evening began with the whimsical Swan Cake, a playful culinary illusion that captivates the senses. This delicate pastry, shaped like a graceful swan, conceals a molten salted-egg yolk custard that flows with regal fluidity. The custard’s perfect balance of saline richness and buttery cream surprises with each bite, offering a silken, oozing texture. The whisper of umami within the sweet outer shell creates a tactile paradox, inspiring reflection long after it melts on the tongue and heightening anticipation for the next course.
The centerpiece of our feast, the **Wagyu Feast**, arrived not merely as a dish, but as a rich anthology of bovine poetry. The **wagyu tartare** embodies refined restraint, where each morsel of beautifully marbled beef is transformed into a luxurious silkiness. Immaculately knife-cut, it is enlivened by a subtle hint of acidity and delicate microgreens that elevate, rather than mask, the meat’s intrinsic succulence. Then, the **A5 Miyazaki-gyu nigiri** and sashimi emerged as luminous propositions of immediacy: their exquisite marbling resembles fine engravings, while the flesh effortlessly liquefies beneath the gentlest of touches, releasing a buttery, saline aroma that seems almost ethereal. Each preparation unfolds like a distinct stanza, be it raw, torched, or delicately seasoned—all harmonizing within the same melodic theme of pristine fat and cultivated restraint.
To anchor our meal, we selected two broths for a balanced counterpoint: the **X Pot Special Spicy** — a deep, brooding blend of layered complexities, beginning with a peppery overture that spirals into a savory middle register, rich with umami depth. Meanwhile, the **Golden Chicken Broth** captivated with its enchanting translucence, a profound concentration that emanates the essence of time-honored cooking. It offers a fragrance that recalls the warmth of a hearth and a taste that captures the pureness of collagen distilled to a crystalline clarity. The spicy broth invigorates the palate with its kinetic energy, while the golden broth comforts and amplifies, creating both contrast and harmonious synergy.
Our taste of vegetables arrived with crisp **bok choy**, shining like emeralds, its refreshing snap acting as a sharp counterpoint to the opulent meats. The **Golden Wagyu Rice with Black Truffle** exemplifies bourgeois hedonism transformed into high art: each grain is lacquered in the rendered fat of wagyu, turning humble rice into savory jewels that release the intoxicating aroma of fresh truffle. This dish is pure alchemy—every bite a brilliant fusion of starch, fat, and earthy depth that dances on the palate.
To conclude our lavish experience, a **complimentary dessert** served as a delicate punctuation mark—a measured sweetness paired with exquisite textural nuance, a graceful benediction that left us satiated yet not overindulged.
In summary, *The X Pot* is a masterclass in curated excess—flawless in execution, sumptuous in material, and subtle in its theatricality. It embodies the essence of luxury without the burden of ostentation—an indulgent experience that is undeniably refined. Five stars, without reservation; I eagerly anticipate the next act in this culinary masterpiece.
Meat is tender and melts in your mouth, the seafood is fresh and the foie gras is so creamy and beyond words. Sizzling black pepper waygu and the waygu carpaccio is so tender that melts in your mouth. We had to fight for our meat between 3 people, couldn’t resist and ordered 3 more a la carte.
We had the oxtail tomato, creamy lobster and golden chicken soup base. All taste phenomenal. Love how it’s not too salty and flavorful even before we add all the ingredients.
Our server, Ryan, is the best. His service was top-tier. He’s incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. Honestly some of the best service I’ve received anywhere in a while.
His assistant, Xavier is a identical version of Ryan. Humorous, attentive and kind.
The only 2 things I didn’t enjoy was the waygu fried rice and the mongol 5 specialty cocktail. However their old fashion aka kemuri X was awesome.
Thank you, Kacy, for the outstanding hospitality — you truly elevated our night. Highly recommend dining here and asking for her!
In addition the service is superb. My server Ryan was very attentive and was quite open to give suggestions on how we can enjoy the meal without “filled up” quickly. I also saw him to explain to others how they can benefit from a membership so to get the best value for bang of the buck.
Needless to say this is an expensive meal but it certainly beats any steak house for experience and alternative meal choice for your visit of the strip.
Golden chicken soup was the best, flavor was rich and hearty.
