The experience of watching the mermaids swimming while eating my dinner was simply phenomenal. What a show. Very cool idea and something absolutely different from anything else you’ve seen or watched. Worth the visit and experience.

The worst experience ever! We vacationed in FL for our daughter’s 6th birthday. She loves mermaids and we made reservations for brunch under the sea. Paid $225 for the brunch, $40 for parking, and 1 hour drive…. Completely a waste of time and money. The advertisement said there is a meet and greet but there was none. My daughter wore her best mermaid dress and drew a picture of the mermaid to give to the mermaid but was not able to. The mermaid show was underwhelming with the mermaid occasionally swam across. We spent more time staring at the empty pool or just her tail rather than her under the water. She does not perform any tricks. Just swam by and wave hi and then go back to the surface. We were there for 2 hours and she swam across 5 times in that 2 hours. There is not a show at all. My daughter got so bored there. The food was below average at best … yes, below average. I had better food for $12 than what they were charging. The food was dried and tasteless. The atmosphere was ok for being in a “ship wreck” it’s kinda cool with the small aquarium but OMG so not worth it. The waitress was nice and she admits she is embarrassed with the brunch for the customers and that it needs to change. The manager that came out did apologize but I’m not sure if they will be able to do anything as she said she will send an email to her manager and cc’d me immediately after our conversation. It has been about 4 hours since our conversation and I have yet to see an email from her. I do not recommend this place at all. I don’t ever leave bad reviews but this is just so ridiculous.

We had a few appetizers and drinks. The spicy shrimp was fantastic, and the mermaids swimming in the pool was entertaining.

We had a great time watching the Mermaids and Mimosas show by sitting at the bar. We had a great view and even got to be interactive with the mermaid and merman at the window by the kitchen. They were customer oriented and fun!

The food was delicious, and the Mimosas were great! The bartender was friendly and had a good sense of humor! We had steak and fries and an omelet with sides. Dessert was a yummy chocolate cake slice and the best ever bread pudding!! Great service, too.

Get reservations for sure. You will have an enjoyable evening!

The servers were great and super friendly, but the food was just okay. Drinks were good. We went mainly to see the mermaid show, but it doesnt seem like they do that anymore when I asked? We saw one that just occasionally swam around and looked like a knock-off Ariel. Very underwhelming and just not what we had hoped for. Also the place smelled kinda musty.

Loved looking through the portholes in search of the perfect Merman. The food was delicious and drinks were refreshing. Definitely a place you want to visit again… next time to meet the mermaids. Wish the show had been a little longer… enjoyed the fun maritime theme and atmosphere.

What a unique experience! We went to the burlesque mermaid show on a Saturday night. Arrive early for the best seats, if you’re not at the bar you won’t have a good show. We met some other fun couples and had a blast! It is awkwardly in a hotel bar but worth it. Valet is complementary, the hostess will validate your valet ticket. Don’t let them charge you, other couples we’re “charged” $50 by the valet manager for a complementary service because they didn’t know, and he laughed at them after.

Look. You’re there for the mermaids. That’s it. So go, have a drink and see a mermaid. Mermaids are great! Everyone loves a mermaid!

But wow, this place. It really could be something incredibly special. And it sounds like it was but isn’t any more, which is a shame. ‘Cause once you get past the mermaid novelty, Wreck bar is kinda… a wreck, honestly. Sorry. Too easy there.

Anyway. The sunken galleon theme to the space is fantastic. It’s pure whimsy and fun, for sure. And props to them for it. C’mon, who doesn’t enjoy the idea of sitting in a ship under the sea that just happens to serve drinks as mermaids swim by? That’s everyone! But once you get past the space itself – and the mermaids – then things kind of fall apart. The food is, well, all right. It’s unfortunately nothing special. The cocktails? Also mediocre at best. They’re made by recipe, but the recipes aren’t all that great. If there was ever a place that screamed for a killer Mai Tai, then a sunken galleon themed bar with real live mermaids would be it. Unfortunately, what Wreck serves as a Mai Tai is a drink that most people who know a Mai Tai wouldn’t know as a Mai Tai. Other drinks are the same.

This place has so much amazing potential. Or again, maybe it did. Who knows?

Also, apparently there’s been a change of the mermaid guard, which has caused some amount of controversy in the mermaid world. Looking for the mermaid burlesque? Unfortunately you’re out of luck. Burlesque and booze are a great combo, but that’s not the course Wreck is charting anymore. It’s a more family friendly affair now, and that’s fine.

Again, look. You’re there for mermaids, and that’s great. ‘Cause the closest spot that does anything similar is the Sip ‘n Dip Lounge in Great Falls, Montana. And you’re nowhere close to there.

I booked an event here. The communication is horrible, no one knew what they were doing and are no helpful whatsoever. They were changing their room booking application and it sent all of my attendees an email saying that their reservations were canceled when it was not. I called them multiple times throughout the week, all at different times with no help.

If you are thinking about hosting anything here, please rethink your decision. The stress and hassle is not worth it.

The worst place when it comes to communication and being helpful/proactive when it comes to finding solutions for problems.
