This small tavern had a great feel to it. Went midday it was busy but we still got a table. Waitstaff and bar tender were quick at their jobs but did not rush you. Everything came out of the kitchen at the same time and the food was still nice and hot. Great sandwiches, all the other food coming out looked great.

This is a quaint, cozy tavern with big joint service and options. The food is delicious and there is an abundance of beers and spirits. The inside was very nice but with the weather we chose to sit outside. Our server was friendly and other staff members checked in on us too. Definitely an amazing place and I wish them many years and room to grow because I feel this place is taking off.

Fun place! Tiny with great atmosphere and service. Prime rib wasn’t great but the mac and cheese varieties (we had two) were terrific. Recommend!!!!

My husband and I love coming here. They have rotating menu and all of their food is great. I am gluten free and they have options for me. My husband loves their mac and cheese. I wish they had more options for gluten free. The salad is always delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere is nice and not too loud and the drinks are great as well.

A nice upper end dive. Bartender was more than willing to show me some things that I hadn’t seen on the liquor shelf and I appreciated that. The place was clean but it had a patina which I also appreciated. Where my criticism comes in is if you’re going to add prime rib to a sandwich or to a a bowl dish like macaroni and cheese. It’s a complete waste to cook it all the way through until the prime rib is brown. You could use any cut of beef at that point. Prime rib, which is meant to be eaten red through the center with a brown outside coating, If you’re going to serve it with macaroni and cheese or completely cooked through on a sandwich, then all you’re doing is escalating the cost to the customer by using the words ” prime rib ” in the description. I’m not poor but I’m certainly not going to throw money around just because somebody decides to use prime rib as a description for what they have as an ingredient in their product. Once we finally paid our bill after five drinks, one bowl of macaroni and cheese with minced prime rib that was overcooked and a sandwich that was labeled prime rib but also cooked all the way through and I couldn’t even eat more than two bites of it because it disappointed me right out of the gate, The bill ended up coming to nearly $120 and I would have been glad to pay it if I had been ” wowed ” by more than the cheap macaroni and cheese that was fantastic but it probably only cost a dollar to make and then they abused the prime rib by adding it. To the bartender’s credit, she did offer to replace my disappointing meal but I refused to put the kitchen through more than they were already going through because of my disappointment. My fiance offered me some of what she was eating which was the prime rib and macaroni and cheese and I could stomach the macaroni and cheese which was, again, very good but not worth $120. I even asked for the bartender to send the owner over to talk to me and he never came. Despite the fact that he didn’t know that I was going to complain to him about my experience. We won’t be back. Atmosphere and good service is great but being unacknowledged and using a better cut of beef and abusing it just to push the bill higher is theft.

Great place. The cocktails list is extensive and well fashioned. The menu is small, but everything on it is freshly prepared and of excellent quality. Highly recommend the line of Mac & Cheese bowls.
This a great dinning or date night place with a great atmosphere and ambience. Service has always been great.

Awesome little restaurant in downtown Aberdeen, NC. Had the “Paulson” sandwich (meatloaf) and it was probably one of the best sandwiches I ever had in my whole life. They also have a huge selection at the bar if you partake in that sort of thing. 10/10 must visit.

Came here for the first time today looking for a lunch spot in the area and was not let down at all. Great staff. Food literally looked like the photos from the website. Prices are kinda high, but honestly, it really is worth it. I have no regrets. I got the trio plate and my boyfriend got the bbq mac and cheese. Everything about this place is awesome and I loved learning that the owner is a carpenter and probably made most of the shelves and fixtures in the place. One of those places that has a vision and is definitely delivering!
