Had each of the food specials except the omlette on Sunday 10/5. The staff were really friendly and helpful with everything! Amazing service. The pumpkin pancakes were amazing, best I have ever had. The French toast also was amazing.

Coffee is good, especially the pumpkin coffee.

The breakfast bowl was good except it seemed to be missing something…. I added salt and pepper, that made it okay, but there seemed to be some lack of flavor….

I went here for the first time since it got new owners. I was impressed with the quality of food and how clean the establishment was now looking. For folks looking for a little morning hair of the dog, or a Mimosa for their breakfast, The Wooden Spoon offers alcoholic beverages.

As can been seen in the picture, I had a French toast sandwich, at the time of writing it was $10. It was very tasty, and was not greasy which can often be the situation with some places.

Great to have this place in Ossipee.

Had a great experience eating here, the food was great. The menu was the big but not to big with all the classics plus a few creative twists. Will absolutly be returning next time we are passing thru the area.

Such a great place, second time this week I have been and I live almost an hour away…the homemade corned beef hash on the Irish benedict was just amazing, and was exactly the same the second time around. Quick service no matter how busy they are and so friendly you won’t want to leave. Thanks to the owner and the crew!

The best spot for brunch!! It is now under new ownership and the food and service was awesome. The mimosa flight was amazing- the peach and elderberry mango flavors were SO good! The banana foster pancake was the best pancake we’ve ever had! 10/10 highly recommend the wooden spoon

We stopped here on our way home from King Pine Ski Area. It’s a nice cozy little place located in a small plaza. The staff were very nice and attentive. The food was really good, it was one of the best breakfasts we had over the course of our trip. The homemade hash was really good. When we come back to North Conway area, we will be back here for sure.

In a rush to check in to the Vermont100, and needing a hearty meal, we stopped on a whim and were more than satisfied! The food arrived just minutes after being ordered, and was very good & hearty- not fancy but good portions and quality ingredients (Western Omelet w/hash browns, Eggs Bene w/home fries)! Perfect breakfast stop. Thank you! 🙂

Update: stopped in again in July 2025 (2024 was our initial visit) and only two things are the same: our waitress, and the good food! New owners/menu/etc! I still recommend it. 🙂

This place is a great little spot to stop on the way to Conway or other places in the area. We had eggs Benedict, the big spoon breakfast, and mouse for the kids.
My biggest compliment is to the wait staff, as they were very friendly and helpful. Pricing is in line with similar places or maybe a tad bit lower.

The food itself is decent but not super remarkable. It’s run of the mill breakfast food, and there’s nothing wrong with that. However, the syrup is not great. It has no flavor, it would be amazing if they used real maple syrup or gave the option, even for a bit extra cost.

Otherwise, no issues and we’d come back again if we’re in the area and looking for some breakfast.
