First time dining here and it was an excellent experience from start to finish, especially during the winter season in January. The meal began with a beautifully prepared selection of side dishes—fresh, well-seasoned, and thoughtfully balanced. The beef tartar was outstanding, showcasing clean, high-quality beef with great texture and flavor. The pork belly was perfectly cooked, rich and satisfying, and ideal for cold weather. The intestine stew was incredibly comforting—exactly the kind of warming dish you want in winter. The spicy level was just right for us (mild with a slight kick).

The food truly felt like great comfort food for the season, paired with a warm, wood-accented environment that made the experience even more inviting. Service was spectacular—friendly, attentive, and professional—with dishes coming out quickly. The staff wore gloves and maintained a very clean dining area, which we really appreciated. The ambience was nicely lit, simple, and cozy. One tip: if you’d like to sit at a table with a grill for BBQ, it’s best to make a reservation in advance. Overall, a delicious and well-run restaurant that we’ll definitely return to.

Had an absolutely perfect Korean BBQ experience at Woo. The quality of everything truly stands out, from the impeccable service to the top-notch meat cuts and flavorful side dishes. The ambiance is super nice and inviting, making it feel like a one-of-a-kind, thoughtfully curated dinner. Special touches like their variety of gourmet salts (smoked, volcanic, and truffle) elevate the meal, and the beef was simply outstanding—tender, fresh, and full of rich flavor. If you’re craving authentic KBBQ with all the bells and whistles, Woo delivers. Highly recommend.

I was by myself bc boss mixed up the dates…decided to dine alone and was made felt very welcome. I got the grill option and they had the cutest setup. The sides were quite fancy as well tasty. They had kimchi, quail eggs, steamed broccoli, radish and my favorite, complementary barley tea. I topped it off with yummy cheesecake. Needless to say, service was gentle and prompt, and the atmostphere was rather lovely.

Their Kalbi jjim and seang Kalbi are my favorite.

What I love here the most is the “No Smell”! Typical kbbq – you have to shower like twice to get rid of the smell. No problem here.

They aren’t your typical kbbq and obviously striving for a high-end version of the Korean bbq, similar to that of Ingle and Honest grill.

Great for date night, family gathering and even good for business meetings due to its quiet setting and lack of burnt smell.

Check them out!

Edit: 3-8-26: Management from The Woo reached out to us with an apology and an offer to give the restaurant another try. We accepted and were very pleased with both the food and the service. The Woo offers an elevated Korean BBQ dining experience with a high level of service. The beef tips and samgyeopsal were cooked well and very tender, and our server took the time to trim away any burned edges, which was a detail we really appreciated. The interior is aesthetically designed while still being comfortable. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and truly appreciated the team reaching out and making things right after our initial unpleasant experience.

Previous: We had a very disappointing experience with The WOO Korean BBQ. Our group made a reservation well in advance specifically for two grill-equipped tables so we could actually enjoy Korean BBQ as intended. However, just three hours before our reservation, the restaurant called and tried to switch us to a single large table that wasn’t even grill compatible.

This completely defeated the purpose of booking a Korean BBQ restaurant in the first place. To make matters worse, this happened on Valentine’s Day, when reservations are extremely hard to come by. Because of their last-minute change, our large group was forced to scramble to find a new place to host dinner on a major holiday, which was stressful and unnecessary.

If the restaurant knew they couldn’t accommodate grill tables for our reservation, that should have been communicated much earlier, not a few hours before. The lack of planning and consideration for customers’ time — especially on a holiday — was incredibly frustrating. Unfortunately, this experience left a very poor impression, and we would not rely on their reservations for important occasions in the future.

Lovely restaurant and staff! Immediately greeted and seated. It was about an hour and a half to close. The restaurant was bustling with laughter and pretty full. Food was delicious. The meat was very tender and cooked perfectly. Some of the best cuts I’ve had at a KBBQ restaurant. Banchans were delicious and fresh, complimented the meat well. Staff was attentive and prepared the meat for us. Definitely recommend!

I visited with a group and ordered the galbitang (Korean beef short rib soup).

Before the main dish arrived, we were served a cup of warm, milky-colored broth, which already tasted very salty with a strong MSG-like flavor.
The galbitang itself was also overly salty, even without adding any extra salt or pepper.
The meat contained much more fat than lean meat, which was disappointing.

Overall, the food felt like it focused more on presentation than actual flavor, and the taste was below the average level of other Korean restaurants.

More concerning was that, whether due to the heavy MSG, the meat, or something else, I personally experienced stomach discomfort and frequent bathroom trips for two days afterward.
A few others in our group mentioned having stomach issues as well.

We visited for a group gathering, but I don’t plan to return or host future gatherings here.
This place may be fine for people with very strong stomachs, but it wasn’t for me.

Everything at The Woo is made with the most special attention. Of course, the atmosphere and service are perfect, but the star of the restaurant is the food.

We ordered the galbi-jjim, mool naengmyeon, and seollongtang. The seollongtang had an especially refined and present taste. The galbi-jjim had the most tender meat I’ve ever had. Everything is so good that you just need to come try it for yourself.

This establishment would be especially good for dates or large formal gatherings, though that doesn’t stop me from coming when I’m craving high quality Korean cuisine.

Absolutely loved our experience at this Korean BBQ spot! The aesthetic is modern, warm, and thoughtfully designed—perfect for a night out or a special occasion. Every dish was flavorful and high quality, from the marinated meats to the ox soup. The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure our grill was always taken care of. Top-tier service, delicious food, and a beautiful atmosphere—we’ll definitely be coming back!

After hearing positive reviews about this newly opened Korean restaurant, we decided to visit for lunch, and we were pleasantly surprised by our experience. Upon being seated, the server presented us with the menu and a hand towel placed in a small lacquered box, which was quite innovative as it expanded when absorbing water. Additionally, a cup of bone broth was offered to each of us for a tasting—a thoughtful gesture that helped cleanse the palate and warm us up.

For our meal, we chose the Galbi-tang and grilled croakers. Both dishes were flavorful, with the soup exhibiting a rich depth and the ribs cooked to achieve a tender texture. The croakers were grilled to perfection, and the accompanying side dishes stood out with their quality and taste, offering a refreshing alternative compared to other establishments.

The presentation of the dishes was visually appealing, and the selection of serving ware added a charming touch. The restaurant’s minimalistic interior, white walls, and light wood tones created a pleasant dining atmosphere. Overall, the combination of delicious food and attentive service made for an enjoyable experience, and we look forward to exploring more of their Korean cuisine, including barbecue, soon.

Update: We returned for dinner, and the other food items we tried were of excellent quality and tasted authentic. The service was consistently good, and the overall experience was worth it.
