Amazing service by the staff. Atmosphere is quaint. Food is good but I feel like there’s something missing that I just can’t place my finger on. Bread from the full breakfast is amazing! I think the owners mother bakes them. So delicious! I would go back for drinks and a quick bite.

I went for dinner at about 7:30pm on a Thursday night. We found the sign to seat ourselves and we sat and were greeted and received our waters. Our actual waitress did not check on us too often, as we were tucked in that corner of the bar. However, other staff checked in on us and made sure our waters were full. This place had one of my favorite burgers and espresso martinis. I enjoyed my dinner of the braised pork shoulders. The potato’s and broccoli were warm and flavorful. I really enjoyed all of the food and drinks. This place would be perfect if service was just a bit better.

Super cute place. Everyone was so friendly there, and they thanked my friend and I for coming to check them out for restaurant week. Everything we ate was soo delicious. I definitely want to come back to try the sandwiches as well. The sausage rolls were perfect, and so were the scones. The veggie quiche had a lovely crispy crust. The chicken and waffles with the togarashi maple honey was by far the best I have ever eaten with the perfect amount of spice that was definitely a pleasant surprise. Do not even get me started on the Banana Foster French toast. Let’s just I wanted to go home for a nap since I ate it all. The trinity cupcake to finish it off. My only regret was not making my coffee an Irish one. I will be returning soon.

Food was great! The French dip was ‘melt in your mouth’ good, the mini sausage rolls were delicious and the fries were perfection. Loved their drink selection and the overall vibes. Would totally be a regular if we lived closer!!

This is our go-to place in the neighborhood! They have something for everyone on the menu, spinach artichoke dip, pizza, pan seared chicken, and Irish dog are our faves. They even a kids menu. The atmosphere is fun, friendly, and casual. They show Irish sports and charter bosses to Chicago Hounds games. If you come for brunch, make sure to get the scones which are baked by the owner’s Irish Mother and FANTASTIC!

There are many reasons to come here: They offer two versions of an Irish breakfast (full and half), which are solid. There are Irish beers (as well as excellent Chicago brews) on tap and Irish sports on the telly. And their homemade scones are outstanding, maybe the best authentic British scones in the city (and it sure doesn’t hurt that they come three to an order).

Last night was our first time there. Amazing food. We started with the spinach artichoke dip, got the grilled cheese and chicken wrap. Delicious. Bartender was super friendly and attentive. Will 100% be back.

OMG-The Grilled Cheese!

Walked into Wolffang around 5 pm. I was greeted by the staff immediately, which was super nice. I ordered the spinach Artichoke Dip and grilled cheese sandwich. The grilled cheese sandwich was EVERYTHING you want in a sandwich, and the tomato soup paired perfectly. The spinach Artichoke Dip was also delicious.
Brian was my server and was very friendly and welcoming. Chef Tim also came out and asked how I liked my meal. Everyone really cared about the service and everyone was pleasant with a smile.
Even if the food was horrible, I’d be back here just because of the customer service.

The house fries with homemade ketchup was next level. Highly recommend the chicken cesar wrap as well as the cesar salad. 10/10 Options. Can’t go wrong ever. Definitely coming back

The Wolfhound Bar & Kitchen is truly one of Chicago’s hidden gems. Every time I’ve come here, the food and drinks have been spot-on — fresh, flavorful, and served with care. The atmosphere is perfect for both friends and family — warm, lively, and welcoming, with great music, friendly staff, and a vibe that instantly makes you feel at home. Whether you’re coming for dinner, trivia night, or just to unwind with a drink, this place never disappoints. I’ve been here quite a few times, and each visit reminds me why I keep coming back. Highly recommend!
