I visited Wolf of Tacos with great excitement, especially after hearing Eduardo Lara speak at the Estrella Damm Gastronomy Congress, where I had already sampled a small tasting of his tacos. I was truly impressed then, so I decided to bring my wife for the full experience.

Unfortunately, the visit turned out to be deeply disappointing.

The tacos are undeniably well crafted, with thoughtful flavor combinations and clear technical skill, but the value for money is simply indefensible. We paid $50.65 for six tacos and one Mexican Coca-Cola — a price point that might be acceptable for a celebratory dinner, but not for portions that are, quite frankly, miniature.

We tried the Al Pastor, Suadero, Al Vaquero, Aquiles, and Pollo Asado tacos. The flavors were good across the board, but the portion size was so small that it left no room for satisfaction. What should have been a memorable taco experience quickly became a conversation about pricing rather than pleasure.

Spectacular, absolutely delicious tacos at the Brightline Central Station in Miami, what a wonderful surprise. Highly recommended!
The Al Vaquero and Costilla tacos are outstanding. The sauces are incredible, with options ranging from mild to seriously spicy. You simply cannot pass through the station without trying them—it’s an absolute MUST!

The tacos are definitely not from Taco Bell… the Aquiles are soooo good. We’ve been to lots of street taco places but never had wagyu beef tendons with chicharron… to die for! This place slice the lengua after it’s been braised for 24 hours. They do special combination on Tuesdays. The food was top rate.

The atmosphere is a train station food court so don’t expect fancy seating but it’s clean & service is very friendly and clean.

We tried the Wolf of Tacos at the Brightline food court. The service was amazing and the food was excellent. If you are used to west coast tacos on any level you will not be disappointed. Corn, not flour mini tortillas with homemade salsas. While one taco is $7+ dollars it is actually 2 tacos big. The staff was very friendly. A nice touch for the train station.

Been getting these on my commute for months. Used to be really good! Fast delicious and reliable tacos. Last few times I’ve gone I thought the meat was dry but this week I coulda sworn the meat was a bit rotten. If that wasn’t bad enough I’m pretty sure the chips and guacamole have gotten smaller too. Feel like I had 8 chips in my last bag. Wait times have gotten longer as well. Don’t think it’s the staffs fault. Doesn’t seem to be more than one or two cooks working at once. Pretty sure there used to be more. Better options and value in the train station. Pizza next door is great.

Located inside Brightline’s station in Downtown Miami. Some of the best taxis you will find in Miami. Fully recommend this taqueria. Ordered al pastor, vaquero, suadero, rib eye, and it was delicious

I had recently learned of this taco stand from either the Food Network or Travel Channel and it was very well spoken about, so I knew that I had to try it out when I was in South Florida next time. Yes, I even drove 45 miles from where I was in South Florida to Miami just to try this place out).

Be aware that this place is in a food hall right near the Miami Brightline station so it’s not easy or find unless you’re looking for it (and yes it is upstairs). It is in a downtown location surrounded by the local state and federal courthouses.

Anyhow I came in here after office hours on a Thursday, so it was kind of quiet. The staff was friendly and the menu looked good. I ordered the Al Pastor tacos and the Campechano (confit rose meat and sausage blend), and ordered them with option of crumbled Chicharron (worth it for the $0.50 upcharge per taco). But honestly I wish they also offered a side of freshly made Chicharron’s too, rather then just the crumbled. Aside from that that the Al Pastor was yummy and the Campechano, while slightly gamey, had a good flavor and was tender.

They offered hot sauces and the tacos come with lime wedges to add an additional pop of flavor.

If you’re in the area for business or just passing through for the Brightline, it’s worth it stop here as they offer up good street tacos that are worth trying.

I really hope that the cooks can understand. I ordered steak, suadero, and pastor, and my partner ordered another three to dine in, so we got our order in to-go containers. I really wanted to eat my tacos from a plate with the paper at the bottom. Then we had some trouble trying to find out who ordered what; both orders were mixed. Green sauce, made with raw green tomatillos, was so flat and plain. The red sauce was even worse, with a lot of heat and no flavor, just árbol chile, garlic, and vinegar. Those cheap, rushed sauces just killed my tacos. Then I realized that I ignored a big red flag for a taqueria: Valentina sauce, not just yellow label, but black label too! After eating, I realized why they have supermarket sauce…

Bro is the CEO of tacos, no cap.

We took the Brightlight down to Miami and were roaming around the food hall for a bite. We stumbled upon The Wolf of Tacos and decided to give ti a go. I could NOT believe the flavors and authenticity of this. If you’ve ever been to Mexico and had real tacos, you’ll know these tacos are the real deal. They have 10 different type of tacos, and several sauces…all freshly made. And the prices are totally reasonable, making it great value. I ordered the POLLO ASADO, which had BELL & EVANS JOSPER-GRILLED CHICKEN THIGHS, for only $5.50. I should have ordered two. Wow wow wow. Please check this place out and support them. I believe they used to be a food truck, so it’s awesome to see them growing in this new food hall space at the Brightline station.

This taco spot is tucked inside the Brightline train station—definitely not where I expected to be having lunch. I ordered the carne asada tacos, but they fell a bit flat in flavor. The tortillas were dry and slightly crunchy, almost stale tasting!! which didn’t do the filling any favors.

I also prefer steak sliced for tacos; the cubed pieces kept tumbling out, making each bite a bit of a balancing act. Did I finish them? Of course—because we don’t waste—but I wouldn’t rush back unless they upgrade the tortillas or relocate.

And one more thing: chips and salsa, or at least some guac, should be non-negotiable. Tacos deserve friends!!

Also pretty expensive for these small tacos lol
