I have been going here for over 30 years, and it has always been exceptional. The deli serves up some of the best sandwiches around, and the staff is awesome! The powerhouse with turkey is my go-to, and has been since I was a little kid. They have a wonderful selection of wine and spirits at very reasonable prices. Friday night wine tastings are also a great experience.

The deli has gone downhill. Turkey club had 1 slice of cheese, 4 slices of lunchmeat (not deli meat), old lettuce, and burnt bacon. $40 for 2 sandwiches, 2 drink and 2 small bags of chips.

Not sure how the wine place has the best sandwiches in town… But, they do. Talk about consistency. I’ve probably been coming here for 25 maybe 30 years. I was recently Loki for an allocated bottle of bourbon-whiskey. Everywhere I went no one had it. When I came to the Wine Merchant they were also out, only difference is the guy running this area took my name down in hopes of receiving the whiskey. Once the shipment arrived I received a call to inform me that shipment was in. I particularly like this institution for the customer experience! The price was great as well!

We stopped by this shop since we were in town for my graduation from Purdue University Global. We traveled to Maryland (only 1 hour) to see my sister. I am so glad we stopped by! The people that work there are highly knowledgeable and very friendly. They offered some great selections for dry red wines. They also did not try to sell me bottles that were overpriced. On the contrary, they actually talked me out of buying a more expensive bottle telling me that the cheaper bottle was actually better. The wines they selected for me were all delicious! They also recommended local beer from my husband which he said was Highly recommend!

Let me start by saying eat a lot of deli sandwich’s everywhere I travel. Their ingredients are fresh, the bread tastes good, BUT THE MEAT. This is double meat. Every time we order from here, you have to pay extra and this is what they call double meat. They make sure to cover every inch of the bread with condiments and veggies but never the meat.
