So delicious we dined there three nights in a row! Brandon, our server, was so sweet and thoughtful. He even reserved our table on the third night and remembered what we ordered the night before. Not to mention the pear blue cheese salad is phenomenal. Plus the dessert is a must!

I was initially interested to try this place after reviewing the reviews ahead of time, and therefore I went to this place Thursday 11/20 night for Dinner and ended up leaving before even eating. I When I first walked in the door, although the Hostess was standing right there and I know she saw me when I walked in, it took me saying hello to her in order for her to speak. She was the employee who was visibly pregnant. And I immediately asked her, since she said nothing else to me- “should I just go find a seat for myself,” only for her to then say she would check. She acted like there was no where to sit, although not only where people leaving the restaurant when I walked in, but I did see some open tables. So I thought I would make it easy on her since there was plenty of open seating outside on their porch. When I asked to sit outside, she acted like that was difficult and hesitated until I asked again. Then I got sat out there and a lady brought me a cup of water and told me the waiter would be with me right away. Needless to say, i sat outside well over 10min-never saw a waiter, no one came to my table to even greet me or ask if I they could get me started on anything- complete neglect as if I wasn’t even there. And mind you I could look inside and visibly see others being served and even people who were also sitting outside like me, were served. So after sitting there continuing to look around and wonder if I was ever going to be served, I got up and left deciding this place and it’s people were not worth it. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention that I’m African American and felt not only the coldness toward myself when I was at this restaurant, but it completely reminded me of the times we’re living in. And by the way I was treated and not even acknowledged by the Hostess, who was visibly pregnant (so we can’t call this a case of “baby brains,”) the message was loud and clear. I’m glad they didn’t get a chance to get my $ and I will share with anyone and all about this place, which clearly doesn’t embrace serving people of color. I will never eat at this place!! It’s sad, because you never know who comes to visit your place of business, and first impression is everything. And they left quite the impression on me.

Wine Bar Destin is an absolute must-visit! From the moment you walk in, the warm ambiance and expertly curated wine selection set the stage for an unforgettable experience. The charcuterie board is nothing short of perfection—thoughtfully arranged with premium cheeses, cured meats, and delightful accompaniments. But the true star of the show? The tomahawk ribeye. Cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor, and so tender it practically melts in your mouth. Whether you’re a wine lover, a foodie, or just looking for a top-tier dining experience, this place delivers on every level. Highly recommend!

When we come to Destin we always put The Wine Bar on our shirt list of places to eat as it never disappoints! The food tonight was amazing. And the staff, Mattie, Brandon, Virginia and the chef “Redneck” all were on point as usual! The steak was cooked perfectly and the cake was absolutely delicious.Just look at the pictures if you don’t believe me! This place is my local favorite and a must for anyone to visit. They have one of the best wine lists on the coast.

The service was good and the wine was great. We got a charcuterie board and the Brie from France was hands down the best cheese I’ve ever had. The reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the small charcuterie board was $30 and I understand the cheese is gourmet, but I still thought that was overpriced. Overall good experience, but expect to pay a little more than you may have thought.

This is my new favorite spot in Destin! I don’t even like deviled eggs but these were 10/10. The Mac n cheese is also amazing, the wine was great, the homemade Caesar salad dressing was amazing, I wish I could give it ten stars! We will be back!

This was on a Wednesday, so we had an “All day Happy Hour Prices” for wine carafes, so we were obliged to take this offering . We also had the baked bri with thinly sliced apples which was amazing; so, we WILL head back here for MORE of THIS appetizer . My husband had the lamb chops and said they were amazing. I had the red snapper and it was ok…but, not outstanding (a bit dry to taste…but, I have gone to MANY restaurants to compare snapper across the coumtry.); it was fine, just not something I would require havinv to head back to the restaurant as a “Must Have” . The waiter was MUCH MORE attentive/wise to customer appreciation than the waitress (“server”), but maybe she was new to this biz(?). But, all in all, it has a good vibe for sipping wine with a dinner and relaxing on a weekday. We enjoyed our 2nd time to this Wine Bar and we will return as we have moved permanently to this area.

It took 25 minutes to get our drinks. We found the food to be dry and tasteless and overpriced. Add in a service fee for credit cards and you have a less than enjoyable dinner. We will not be going back.
