A good spot in a very small town. We needed to have dinner somewhere and thought it was 15 minutes before closing, they served us. We had fish and chips. The fish was perfectly crispy and very fresh. They staff was very kind. The portion size were huge and filling.

Pulled into R Place for a quick bite to eat while riding motorcycles with some friends. I had a chicken fajita and some onion chips, which were excellent. Fresh ingredients and very tasty. The onion chips were perfectly crispy. An extremely clean restaurant with really nice staff. I can easily recommend them!

Fast and friendly service. I had an excellent Jalapeno Bacon Burger, Large Chocolate Shake and large onion chips (very clever and tasty use of cutting onion rings up) all for under $20. Definitely a place I will frequent in the future.

This restaurant is clean, and the food is delicious!. The service is outstanding!!! Very comfortable place to eat. I highly recommend this establishment! The prices are average. My favorite breakfast was the Denver omelet. The chicken fried steak is very good also!.

This is a great little place. The restaurant was pretty clean and well lit with decent seating. The weight staff was friendly and energetic and provided excellent service. The food was delicious, well portioned, and priced.
I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a quick bite on your way through Troy.

Yummy cones, good fries and great service. The two folks working were super friendly despite being VERY busy. Definitely a great place to stop and enjoy a bite with friends!

There used to be a R-Place in Bonners Ferry & the food was great.. So on our way through Troy, we decided to swing through the drive-thru and grab a few Super Soft Shell Tacos. It turned out to be a bad decision all around. The Tacos were over $6/each and were barely bigger than the packet of Taco Sauce they provided. Half of the tortilla was just wrapped up inside the taco. Then to top it off they didn’t add the sour cream to our tacos & the meat was pretty dried out. Tbh, I couldn’t even finish mine…it was that bad. This was an expensive, highly disappointing visit which will undoubtedly be our last. If I wasn’t disappointed by the amount of money we spent on them, the size of the tacos would be almost comical. Their size is more on par with what you would expect in an appetizer, but even then you would get several in one order. I would definitely recommend you save your money and dine elsewhere.

I hadn’t gone here until today because the name makes it sound really expensive. I went today though and checked out prices and got food. They are priced fairly and the food I got was very good. I just got a snack but could have gotten a sandwich, fries and a drink for under 20 dollars. I will be back for sure, I can’t afford to eat there every day the way I would like but it’s a great treat.

It was a good burger for sure. Flame broiled and cooked to order. There isn’t really too much in Troy to choose from, but this place is still good. We stop by almost everytime we’re in the area. And from what I’ve heard, it’s been there for a long time.
I had a double bacon cheeseburger for $5, and it was delicious. It looked small, but sure was filling. The milkshake I had, huckleberry, was delicious too.

Shake was huckleberry milk with almost no huckleberry taste. 1/4 pounder looks like a kids burger from burger express…. Miss “R Place”. Guys seemed like they didn’t want to be there and took over twenty minutes. Won’t be back.
