Sarah is amazing! We had a wonderful meal. Pizza was perfectly wood fired and the beer was cold. Local artist kept us entertained with cool song set. Table had a bottle of wine from a great selection. The service was exceptional and the whole group enjoyed our experience. We will be back! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

We had a great table outside looking at the water. The service was great. The food was excellent and the portions large. The atmosphere was very chill with a beautiful sunset.

We attended the Thanksgiving buffet yesterday. Booking was very easy.
We arrived at 4:00 pm and quickly were seated. Our seats had a great view of the marina and the beautiful Lake Huron .
Buffet included all the Thanksgiving favorites and more… much more… sushi bar, salmon, prime rib, delicious perch.
Food and service were outstanding.
The decoration was lovely and the ambience was quite beautiful with all the families around. The atmosphere was absolutely great and we enjoyed every bite of our dinner .

We read good things about this place and decided to visit.. We were a party of 8, all adults with one very well behaved 5 year old. We asked for seating on the patio but were seated inside in the back away from the view we came for. We waited quite sometime to get drinks served and then waited even longer for the food. Four of us were served before the child and remaining adults. The beef tips with mushrooms were minuscule and there was one mushroom cost…$18.00. We had finished eating…our plates taken away and were still waiting for the pizzas ordered by the rest of our party. Excuses were made and we asked if they could box up the pizzas to go. We continued to wait, the child unfed and then saw our pizzas sitting on the bar. They had sat so long there was condensation on the bottom box. When I asked for the manager he was kind and removed the cost of the pizzas from the bill, despite this we will not reccomend or visit again. The restuarant was only about half full of patrons and the kitchen and bar could not keep up at 5pm on a random Thursday.

Our server was super nice and our food was AWESOME. They had just recently switched to an Italian menu….and they make their own pastas. Well the new menu….was a good call….because a table of 5 were all very happy customers.
Everyone ordered something different and it was all amazing. The salads were fresh and flavorful. ESPECIALLY….the MI Cherry Salad !
The presentation of each dish was outstanding and the portions were just right (not huge). The soups were amazing, as well.
I had the clam chowder and Dad had the French Onion. He and I both remarked that they were some of the best we’ve ever had.
This kitchen was putting out some pretty awesome food.
I’m very happy to see them doing so well, at The Windjammer. I had left a “not so good review,” last July.
Maybe new ownership or just a menu change….not sure. But I would highly recommend this place, now.. They crushed it.
Seriously, this was some really good Italian food ! Mom got the Walleye and it was also….perfect.
We live in a neighboring town and don’t get up to Lexington much. This will be a good reason to head that way more often.
Looking forward to getting back up there.
And a shout-out to their kitchen staff…..juuuust crushing it. “Thank you,” to them !

We had sauteed walleye, chicken, the fried haddock and a salad and other dishes. All was prepared well. The walleye and haddock were both wonderful and brother loved the bourbon chicken. Would eat there again if we get back up there from Fort Worth.

Stopped in based on recommendations as we were in the area. My go-to at many a restaurant is the French Onion Soup. It was missing a depth of flavor. The onions were not cooked down and the broth was a light yellow rather than a rich brown color.
For the price we paid I thought the food would be on par with the price, and it wasn’t.
The service was good and attentive. The location is beautiful, lots of great views.

Went to a Bourbon and Rye Tasting Event served with Appetizers.
What a wonderful evening on the deck of the Windjammer tasting Bourbon and Rye.
Bratwurst/Sauerkraut, Tomato/Mozzarella/Basil/Balsamic Vinaigrette Salad, 3 different sushi rolls.
Everything was delicious. The presentation informative.
Server Victoria was delightful and great personality.
Good job Windjammer.
Region needs more of this type of entertainment.
Handicapped accessible parking and bathrooms. However the Women’s stalls are small so a wheelchair would not be able to enter into the stall itself.
Seems like a very clean facility.

Post said seating til 3:30 service til 4:00.
When arrived told closed at 3:00. We drove from Port Huron for all you can eat buffet.
Went to the Cadillac House for Prime Rib.
Service was wonderful!
No way to run a business Windjammer!

We come here for the holiday and winter brunch buffets and this is a favorite treat for our family. The fish is one of my favorite things! We just came for Thanksgiving and the food was incredible, every single dish was amazing, those mashed potatoes… I could’ve eaten heaps! We love the food, ambience, and consistency. It’s pricey but you get what you pay for and that’s what keeps us returning!

The seafood and steak were absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was amazing—it felt like we were about to board a ship! Perfect setting for a beachside restaurant. Plus, our food arrived quickly. Highly recommend!
