A lucky find on a return trip from Florida. Staff were very friendly and we enjoyed good service from checking in to paying our bill. A local couple we talked with while waiting for our table said we would enjoy anything on the menu and I doubt that is an exaggeration. We ordered grilled shrimp with sides of onion rings and pasta salad. All food, including the salads and bread were fresh and well prepared. We also indulged with desserts and the pie and brownie were very well made. The Friday night crowd made for very busy evening but the staff handled the volume well. If you are in the neighborhood, definitely worth stopping in.

What a nice little surprise. We selected the Willow restaurant just because it was located between several friends homes, so we weren’t expecting too much. Great food, a wide selection and the staff are absolutely wonderful. I drove 1 hour and 35 minutes to get there and it was worth every bit.

Started with mashed potatoes and gravy, mashed potatoes are smooth, rich, and creamy. The gravy reminded me of KFCs gravy take that how you will. The mac and cheese was decent and had no real seasonings added salt and pepper due to that being the only seasonings I had access to. Next, the French onion soup (please keep in mind they said they didn’t have none and possibly went out of their way to make it but was specifiedwe could wait) the onnions was under cooked and chopped a lot larger than normally served there was no croutons put in the soup the broth had flavor but lack a little love in my opinion it tasted like. Knock of it wasn’t rich in taste or bold. Finally, the end the steak, I’m super big on steak, for what it was, it had really good flavor and was cooked perfect to how I asked. The atmosphere is a more mature crowd, not a lot of younger customers but none the less it was a balanced vibe. Sever was nice and was very tentative. Overall, price was quite good, in my opinion, $34.89 for all the food, and a drink isnt too bad in today’s inflated market.

We had lunch here a few weeks ago and it was wonderful. I had the chicken and noodles, just like my grandma used to make. My husband had the Italian sub and loved it. The homemade pies were amazing, especially the apple pie à la mode served fresh from the oven. The restaurant was full by the time we left, and our waiter was fantastic. A charming family-owned spot with delicious food and great service.

We live in Columbus, our friends in Northern KY and we chose this restaurant to meet because of location! We couldn’t have made a better decision! Food was great and service amazing! Had Reuben’s — (a 5 plus)and meatloaf – (a 4). Everything delicious and service was spot on!
