A wonderful evening out with friends. A group of 5 people celebrating a birthday. Spencer was a fantastic attentive server and had no problem slicing and serving a cake that we brought. Wonderful ambiance and incredible food. Highly recommend the filet and the crab cakes.

My wife an I enjoyed a lovely dinner here last evening. Our waitress Kaitlyn was informative and charming, the food was prepared perfectly and the atmosphere was pleasant, even though they were very busy. My asparagus side and pork chop main were perfect (not overcooked) as was my wife’s arugula salad and ahi tuna. If you are not looking for originality, but good old standard items prepared correctly, this is a great spot.

First I have to mention the wheelchair entrance is on the side by the pool. We came for Saturday brunch and everything was fantastic. The salmon poke was to die for with in-house made taro chips. The flavors were an explosion in your mouth! The eggs Benedict, avocado toast and catfish po boy & fries were ok. They were far outshined by the poke!! No complaints and our waitress was very sweet. Can’t wait to be able to come back.

I really wanted to like this place. We have a Lake house here in Aiken and visit periodically. This occasion was for my husbands birthday. We played a few rounds of golf and then grabbed dinner ant the Willcox afterwards. The ambience is nice, but we were squished at a two seated table, with another table right next to us. We had no privacy, or intimacy. We could hear their conversation the entire time. It did not feel romantic whatsoever. The service was okay, it took a while to initially track our server down. The wine selection was nice. However the food was awful. The steak was overcooked and tasted like cilantro. It was very overpowering. I would come back to drink here and ask for a different table. I most certainly would not dine here again, especially for a special occasion.

My wife and I had dinner here and both of our Entrees were delicious. We also got the oysters and they were amazing.

We always have dinners for special occasions at the Wilcox. The service and atmosphere is excellent. The old hotel is charming especially if you sit in the lobby. Try the Wilcox Gin and Tonic. Don’t be afraid that it is a little purple. It’s meant to be that way. The food is good but could be a little better. Same with the service. It is higher end but they could use just a bit more training. All in all…. I would go if you are in the Aiken area. It is firmly on the Aiken bucket list.

5 star service from the the car to the table. Valet attendants were kind and helpful. They had a beautiful lobby with live piano accompaniment to set a beautiful atmosphere. We arrived early and were offered early seating or drinks at the bar. Our waiter, Tristan, was highly attentive and provided us with helpful recommendations for our meal choices. Everything we ate was delicious! We also appreciated the small touches of several staff commenting on our anniversary, a small note, and drinks from the restaurant. 10/10 would recommend and look forward to coming back in the future.

A friend and I drove from Columbia to celebrate our birthdays. We were treated royally! The service was impeccable and the food and drinks were amazing. The BLT was probably the best I’ve ever had. The Calamari was the most tender and delicious. Everything was delicious. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

One pretty frustrated diner here. Fortunately, since it was my wife’s birthday, her meal was cooked well. Mine on the other hand, a failed attempt. I got the 16 oz ribeye, med rare. First one comes out…looks gorgeous. Cut into it…pushing medium well. For the cost, no thanks. Please fix. Next one comes out full of raw fat, plate covered in blood because it had not been rested, and blue on the inside. They appeared to sear one side on the grill and kissed the other side for a few seconds. To spend $200 and not eat dinner is frustrating. Our waiter, Nicholas, avoided the fact that I had not eaten and instead was pushing desserts on us; which I paid for as well. Not that I expected a comped dessert, but seriously? The Cinnamon Toast Crunch crème brûlée is something that should never see the specials list again. Outside of the brûléed top, there is nothing crème brûlée about this dessert.

I expected better service from this well regarded establishment, but left frustrated and stewing for the close to one hour drive home.
