We came here during Triangle restaurant week and enjoyed our dinner. The Willard is located at the top of AC hotel in downtown raleigh. We had a reservation for a friday night and made the reservation 2 days before. My husband and I both ordered the croquetas to start. We were very suprised we how much we got (6 pieces per person). They came out nice and hot and had a garlic aioli to dip. The cheese was perfectly melty and so tasty. For our entree we order the BBQ bacon pretzel burger, which wa sour favorite because of how flavorful it was. The bureaus burger was good, but the bun didn’t seem toasted and the overall burger did not come out hot. We ended our night with the churro cheesecake which was so delicious! We also ordered the chocolate torte, but had it to go. it was topped with candied pecans, and the torte was very rich, but also delicious. We left with some leftovers and overall enjoyed our meal! All of our food came out pretty fast as well

Nice rooftop atmosphere. Beautiful lighting amd ambiance. Clean setting. Lots of people for different occasions. Everyone very friendly and came up to say hello to us. We Got Sat right away but took about 30 minutes to get greeted after we had to ask a manager about how it worked for service up there. After the initial wait, the service was great. Our server really treated us well. He was a gem. We got a burger- really good, mushrooms- not sauteed and kind of bland/still earthy tasting, and a lemon cake- very ich and would be good for someone who really like sweets(to be fair, I’m not a big sweets person, so that might be just me ♀️). In any case, We will be back.
Hotel staff and security were so sweet and happy to see us with warm greetings as well. ❤️

Atmosphere was superb and the food was delicious. I had the bbq bacon burger and the ginger island drink. The drink was a little watered down though. I wish there was more food option but besides that everything about this place is amazing. It’s more of a lounge vs a restaurant. It was a little difficult to find at first bc it’s located inside a hotel on the 7th floor. I would definitely be back. However, parking can be a hassle.

I recently visited this restaurant and was impressed by the overall atmosphere. It was very clean, welcoming, and had a great vibe. Our waitress was friendly and provided great service. The view was beautiful, and I loved that you have the option to dine inside or enjoy the rooftop seating.
As for the food, it was a bit of a mixed experience. The cedar chicken salad was a little chewy, and the seasoning was quite overpowering. The chocolate torte dessert also had a strong flavor—more like thick chocolate pudding than a traditional dessert. However, the fries were tasty (though a bit salty), and the hamburger was absolutely delicious!
One downside was the wait time for drink refills. It could take up to 30 minutes, depending on how many servers were available that day. Despite that, I’m definitely open to giving it a second chance. The atmosphere and some of the food were worth coming back for.

This rooftop restaurant is an absolute standout. The atmosphere is stylish and relaxing, with stunning views that make the perfect backdrop for any meal. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the ambiance made the entire experience feel special. Whether you’re celebrating or just enjoying a night out, this spot offers a perfect mix of great food, exceptional service, and unbeatable scenery. Highly recommend!

A great spot to dive and enjoy views of downtown Raleigh. Food was amazing. I had the barbecue bacon burger which was delicious and even the fries were cooked to perfection. Prices were not terrible and the views were spectacular. We will definitely be returning.

I cannot rave about The Willard enough. I was tasked with planning an end of year party and Leslie accommodated my every need- she was professional, and gave me advice along the way.
Our party was incredible, and our server Kat even found a ring I left behind! The food was emaculate. The drinks amazing. The view outstanding. The service was 15/10

Amazing drinks and food . We had a group of 4 and each had a cocktail off the menu and some sharable appetizers and that was plenty of food for a light lunch . The view is beautiful from the roof top day or night . The tall steeples and sky high buildings are a work of art to see high in the sky . I highly recommend this place. Yes it’s pricey , but it’s so worth it

Went for a ladies’ brunch! Great atmosphere. Love the rooftop vibe, and the weather was perfect. The food was decent, not spectacular. Nice portions – needed a to go box. Should have at least 2-3 dessert options. I had the banana pudding ice cream, and it was delicious. However, if you are dairy sensitive, it may not have worked well for you. Parking should be included for a $55 three course brunch. I paid $10 to park! We initially reserved a regular table inside, but apparently, that meant 2 sofas flanking a coffee table. Um, no!! Probably need to give that to those who specially request such. I’d go again for a special occasion only.
