If you’re looking for a spot in New Orleans that delivers big flavor, creative cocktails, and gluten-free friendly options without sacrificing taste this is it.

We ordered a little bit of everything (as we do ) and honestly, there wasn’t a single miss.

The Panang Cauliflower Curry was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced comforting but still bright and layered with flavor. I believe this is a vegan dish as well. I ordered this and I wasn’t sharing. The Louisiana Hot Chicken brought the heat in the best way, crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. That crunch? 10/10. I did feel like this needed some kind of sweet element to it to balance it all out but that is totally a personal presence. Maybe a drizzle of honey?

The Crispy Citrus Salad was fresh and vibrant the kind of dish that balances out all the indulgent bites on the table. And speaking of indulgent… the Loaded Korean Hot Fries were next level. Sweet, spicy, savory, crispy basically everything you want in a shareable appetizer.

The Double Crunch Salt-N-Peppa Wings absolutely lived up to their name ultra crispy with bold seasoning. And the chicken satay was tender with a flavorful sauce that made it hard to stop at just one. I would recommend doubling up on these.

To sip? I ordered the Frozen Fancypants Greyhound, and it was refreshing, smooth, and dangerously easy to drink. Perfect for that New Orleans vibe.

What really stood out though? How gluten-free friendly they are. It’s so refreshing to find a place where dietary needs are taken seriously but the food still feels elevated and exciting.

Highly recommend adding this to your New Orleans food list it’s the kind of place where you want to try everything on the menu.

Would absolutely go back.

I had such a great experience at The Will & The Way. Finding good gluten free options can be stressful but they make it easy!

My boyfriend has celiac disease, so eating out can be really limiting, but he was over the moon when he found out that they had gluten free fried chicken and fries (and many other options!). It honestly made our night to be able to enjoy food like that without worrying.

The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating and made great suggestions on what to order. I especially want to thank Tristan, the General Manager, who was so helpful and genuinely kind while answering all my questions when I reached out to inquire about how they make their fries. You can tell he really cares about the guests having a good experience.

Great food, great atmosphere and really wonderful people. We’ll definitely be coming back the next time we are in New Orleans!!

I had a great drink with Pisco. I ordered the lamb tacos and was disappointed that it didn’t say it was deep fried on the menu. It was way too oily. They scan your card and I left in a rush. Didn’t have time to close out. The waitress helped herself to 25% tips on every order I placed. They bill everything individually… That was my bad for not closing out before I left. The service wasn’t that good.

Well made cocktails and great courtyard. We had the crispy brussel sprouts. They were the best brussel sprouts I have ever had. Great flavor. We’ll be back to try other items on the menu.

If this isn’t your favorite bar in the area, then you are wrong. The fries? Crispy. The brussels? Fancy and gourmet. The daiquiri? Perfection! I would have never wanted to try a daiquiri as I’ve always found them too sweet but I came here and asked if I could have a gallon to go. The vibes here are elite and I will back again and again. Tom is a great lad and bartender! If this was back home…. I’d be there multiple times a week.

Came in on a slow, cold Sunday night and left already planning our return. The food was out of this world, bold, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The drinks? Creative, well-balanced, and just plain delicious.

But the absolute highlight of the night was the service. KP, Caro, and Briev went above and beyond to create a warm, friendly, and genuinely fun atmosphere. They took the time to chat with us, made us feel truly welcome at the bar, and turned what could’ve been a quiet night out into a memorable experience.

Great food and drinks will bring you in, but service like this is what keeps you coming back. Highly recommend.

The apps and mains here are absolutely INCREDIBLE… The crispy brussel sprouts and the Louisiana hot chicken are the stars of the show. May have to wait a bit for a table in the courtyard if you are dining in

Beautiful courtyard that you can generally find seating at if you arrive before 5pm! They have elevated bar bites if you’re tired of the fried food on Bourbon St. PLUS they have killer drinks — I had their frozen called the Fancy Greyhound and it was so refreshing and strong compared to 90% of other frozens in the area!

My team and I traveled to New Orleans for a national conference. We wanted a space to host our peers from all over the country and chose The Will & The Way as our venue. Absolute 10/10 experience. Carolyn and Tom were the best bartenders I could have asked for. They were attentive and played music for us and really embraced us as visitors to the city. They also were conscious of our spending limit for expenses and made sure all of guests enjoyed great well crafted drinks. We literally packed the place out on a Tuesday night. The appetizers were awesome. And they even had a patio area out back that people could enjoy as there were so many people there. Thank you to this amazing venue for taking such great care of my team and our guests. I will would highly recommend for group outing.
