The Wild Rober pub never disappoints. The service is great—friendly, attentive, and welcoming every time.
The food is always solid and well prepared, but my absolute favorite on the menu are the Reuben potato skins. They’re packed with flavor and honestly worth coming back for on their own. On top of that, they have a great variety of beers on tap, which makes it an even better place to relax and enjoy a meal. It’s a comfortable spot with reliable food and excellent service, which is why I keep coming back. Highly recommend.

Loved our first visit to the new Irish pub in town so much, we went twice in one week! Really enjoyed the food – husband particularly liked how light the batter was on the fish and chips. We were there on Saturday the first visit, it was busy but we were able to snag a table outside without too much of a wait. Lots of people sitting out with their dogs. Very family friendly vibes. Great new addition to Redwood City and a solid option if you are in the mood for some pub grub.

Stopped in for a bite and was pleasantly surprised. The place was clean, and the service was friendly, fast, and attentive—they checked in often without being intrusive. I ordered the fish and chips. While the chips weren’t entirely traditional, the chips were an absolute standout; easily a 15/10 and probably the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. The fish was fresh and moist, just the way I like it. The breading could have been a bit better, but that didn’t stop me from finishing the entire plate. Overall, a great experience. I’d definitely recommend it.

Very good burger and beef stew. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is spacious and it also has an outdoor sitting area. Good for family and friends gathering. Btw, the soda is very tasty. I love it.

My husband and I moved from Ireland recently and our first experience of The Wild Rover was on Thanksgiving, another first for us!
We were there for a few hours and everything was seamless. Drinks were fantastic (my husband said it was the best pint of Guinness that he’s had in the US and we’ve travelled to many places over the years).
The Thanksgiving dinner was everything you could hope for and more. Super tasty, cosy and generously portioned like a celebratory meal should be.
Leona the owner and our server on the day is super friendly and all round lovely. It’s a comfort to find an Irish Bar, owned by an actual Irish lady. We’ve now found our local watering hole!

Up-levelled Irish fare. Delicious lunch of spicy Asian salad with perfectly cooked salmon, and pint of Guinness. And with both Irish rugby and Liverpool football (soccer!) on, what more do you need
