Don’t miss this cozy cafe next to the Metra Station. Their croissants are the best around. So buttery & flaky, with a crisp exterior, yet fluffy middle. The cherry pie also was delicious — big cherries, and it’s not too sweet. Perfect accompaniment to their hot coffee. Speaking of coffee, they professionally roast their own coffee beans in small batches for a delicious, unique coffee taste you can’t find anywhere else. You can see the small but mighty heavy-duty machine they use for this in the window! And to top it all off, the owner, Kay was so warm and welcoming. Definitely will buy coffee and treats from here again!

A little gem tucked right into the train station. The hot chocolate was creamy and the raspberry croissant was delicious. The barista, I think her name was Ari, was as welcoming as can be and made the experience even better. Exactly the kind of place you hope to stumble upon while traveling. Highly recommend.

Passing thru and thought this would be a fun coffee stop. Was not disappointed! Chocolate chip scone was well balanced – not too chocolatey. The apricot jam on my breakfast croissant lent the perfect sweetness to a pretty savory dish. Breve latte was great! The staff was friendly and charmingly disorganized. I’ll be coming back next time my travels allow.

I love the employees! When we came in the coffee shop, we were greeted by the owner. The employees were really nice, one of them had short hair and helped us clean the table outside. The cashier was also very nice, helped us with adding cinnamon powder to our coffee. Love the people here 🙂

At first it’s hard to find because it’s tucked away, but if you follow your maps you should be fine.
I ordered a dark roast drip coffee and I barely tasted any coffee flavor. I would give it a 1.5-2 stars. It’s unfortunate.
My mom ordered a decaf americano and she said she would give it 3.5 stars. It wasn’t the best, but it was still drinkable.
Overall, the atmosphere was very calm and there were two very sweet women working behind the counter, which made the experience worthwhile.

Recently we had an excellent experience with their catering, too! For our children’s birthday party, Kaye came up with a menu based on my budget, time of party, and number of guests. She assembled a beautiful, tasty display of baguette and bagel sandwiches, muffins, and chocolate chip cookies. Our guests loved everything! If the party had been at home we would have ordered drinks too, everything was amazing

An absolute gem right next to the train make for an amazing combo. Amazing latte with a non bitter smooth finish that you will want to at least try without syrup. The staff are amazingly friendly and plenty of sears to plan out your day.
