Really delicious breakfast with lots of vegan and vegetarian options. Refreshing when most brunch places are heavy on eggs and the only other option is sweet. Breakfast tacos were good and made better by the salsa. As a Southern girl, I had to try the biscuits and gravy and they did a great take on it. The fresh baked goods also look delicious. Overall a wonderful breakfast spot.

We loved this place so much, we ate here 4 days in a row on our 5 day visit! Being vegan and finding vegan options can be tough, but we had no issues here. The homemade bread is to die for- and the bowl of Latte was a fun surprise. Great staff, lovely owner, amazing food, and atmosphere. I just wish I lived closer! Definitely on my “will always go back” list.

Delicious food with a huge menu to choose from. Ordered BLAT bowl and it was fantastic—they did not skimp on the avo! Also tried the maple bacon biscuit and it was to die for. Service was excellent. Ambiance is laid back. Definitely will be going back and highly recommend for sandwich/salad/burger!

UPDATE…..I happened to hit this restaurant on an off day..I mean we all have them right? The avocado toast is delicious and the ingredients super fresh, and as a bread maker myself I wish I could bake bread half as good as theirs. The place is a tad loud though (part due to popularity, part due to hard ceilings) but my original post below was based on a day that was just not in the cards for them….I would visit again nonetheless.

Great sandwiches, salads, and baked goods! Our first visit here for lunch was a great choice. Located close to Casa Munras Hotel & Spa.

Got there right at opening on a Saturday. Tried the continental breakfast which consisted of fruit, a pastry, orange juice, coffee or hot chocolate. I also asked for a half side of sausage. They didn’t have any pastries that really appealed to me so I tried the apple coffee cake (for the cake not the apple). When the bill arrived I saw I was charged for the full side of sausage. Just an eh experience.

Fantastic breakfast! The gluten free pancakes were so delicious! The staff was so friendly and attentive! The best hot chocolate and chai latte, served in this big fantastic mug! Definitely recommend!

I was looking for a cool brunch spot, this seemed like it would be a good place. The drinks and service was amazing. The food slightly less so. If you like a chai latte or a good coffee would definitely recommend a visit. I took pancakes and poached eggs and was a little disappointed. The pancakes were cooked a little too long.

I’ve come to Monterey for car week 6 times since 2009. Each time we at a hotel across the street and whenever we can get a breakfast late enough in the morning, I go to the wild plum. The food is fantastic. I was there three times in my most recent 8 day visit. I know finding good help is hard. The service was friendly but so many mistakes were made each time. 10 minutes after ordering we were told one item wasn’t available. The promised creamer for the coffee took another 10 minutes. Another time the avocado toast for one of our dinners wasn’t delivered but just sat on the counter for almost 10 minutes before being brought to the table.

I would like to thank Martin for his wonderful customer service and his help in finding cool places to visit! It was my first time in Monterey and the food was delicious and his service was great! Props to him. I wish more employees were just like him! He was friendly and helpful! I hope the owner sees this. He deserves a raise! I really don’t think the vibe there would be the same without him. Thanks again Martin!
