Get a Big Red float they are the bomb!!!!
Beautiful during the day, and spectacular during sunset. Peaceful and relaxing watching the night lights come on across downtown Louisville. Make sure to stop and get a photo with Rosie.
Plenty of parking and plenty of seating. Great ice cream and great friendly service. A riverfront staple for sourthern Indiana.
Just try it once and you will agree!!!
I ordered a scoop of cookies n’ cream and strawberry cheesecake (I couldn’t choose between the two…) and both were delicious! They have a great location right by the river, so we got to hangout for a bit at a table nearby. My husband ordered a specialty shake that he LOVED! It had peanut butter, banana, and chocolate. Our friends ordered the Superman ice cream and a strawberry cheesecake shake.
You can never go wrong with ice cream, but this place might just be one of my new favorite spots!
The owner was exasperated because she had to call our number and we did not hear her. She loudly said snarky things about us to the other patrons (a 20-something couple, a middle aged man, and a family of 6) as we walked up to get our dessert. An absolute worst nightmare experience for someone with anxiety.
We had chosen to sit at the only shady table which happened to be by the road because the nice, shaded patio area was off-limits to patrons which may be why my husband (who is HOH dx) could not hear her. I am not HOH, nor was I looking at a phone, but I did only hear her call our number twice; the second time (which was immediately after the first, there was barely a pause between), I alerted my husband because he had not heard her.
There were many stray cats being fed by the staff while patrons were dining which I can’t imagine is allowed by the Health Department. Very unsanitary. I absolutely love animals, but you can’t run a food shop and feed critters next to it. We won’t be back.
