The atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and welcoming, the kind of place where you can settle in and actually enjoy your time. The owners are local and truly hands-on, and you can feel it in the way the team works together and how genuinely cared for guests are.
The food is crafted with care and has that home-cooked, made from scratch experience that keeps you coming back. The salad bar and daily specials are a great bonus, and the bartenders make some of the best craft drinks and mocktails around.
Also, not food related, but these owners are always putting on fundraisers to help the community and people in need. They are some of the most genuine, fun, and selfless people you will ever meet, and it shows in everything they do.
This is a true hometown favorite where everyone feels welcome, and it’s easy to see why people keep coming back.

It’s a great mix of everything! Phenomenal food for a fair price, great service and a great atmosphere.
I think it’s only been around like 8 months and we’ve been there atleast 10 times. Definitely love it! My personal favorite is the Fillet Mignon with garlic mashed potatoes ($36) at other restaurants a similar steak would be $40-55

Cristen was PHENOMENAL. Her friendly and fast service made me so comfortable. This was my first time here and now I’m going to be a regular. I had the beef stroganoff with mashed potatoes and corn ribs. To finish the night I had the churro donuts and the prickly pear Not-arita. Everything was delicious!

Our server Renee was absolutely amazing! Spectacular attitude, customer service and super helpful! Atmosphere was fantastic! Our food was spectacular! Everything was cooked to perfection, the calamari was mouthwatering BEST I’ve ever had and I even had calamari at Gordon Ramsay using Vegas! Our Wagyu fillet was cooked to perfection even my dinner companion, who orders hers medium well (PUKE) said it was the best she’s ever had! Best spot in town

Our first time here and very impressed. Adam provided excellent service. We both had burgers. Mine was the double smash and hubby’s the double wagyu. Burgers cooked just right. House made potato chips were yummy although most of them were crumbs…must have got the last of the batch . Didn’t realize that Nathan is one of the owners. We remember him from way back as manager of Nic’s and The Tavern. You’ve done very well, Nate. Proud of you! We’ll look forward to coming here regularly.

The food was ok and the atmosphere simple but decent. The staff appeared nice but the reason I’m giving it a low rating is that the experience seemed shifty and shady. She first advised me to order the burger on the lunch menu to save me money, which is something I care about and appreciated. Then when I asked for a salad instead of fries I was upsold $4 without warning. Not a big deal but a surprise. But when she placed my to go order she said she needed a credit card just to get it in the computer. But when I saw the bill I chose to pay in cash. Just noticed today that I paid double – I was also charged on my credit card. Maybe the staffer really thought I was giving her a $20 tip in a to go order? Possibly…but also silly to me, especially with the initial demeanor of wanting to help me save money. Oof! I also just realized that the lunch menu price is the same as what’s on the dinner menu. Hard to imagine there wasn’t some ill intent here.

We tried White Horse Wood Fire Grill and were absolutely blown away. We started with the shrimp cocktail—hands down the best cocktail sauce I’ve ever had. It had that perfect balance of sweet tomato flavor and a bold kick of horseradish. I had the Caesar salad, and the creamy dressing was incredible. My husband got the wedge salad and couldn’t stop raving about it.
For mains, he ordered the beef stroganoff, and it was absolutely amazing—the sauce was rich and flavorful, and the mushrooms were cooked perfectly. I had the coullotte steak with chimichurri and fried shallots. The chimichurri instantly took me back to Uruguay—it was that good. The steak was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth.
The environment was comfy and cozy, but also classy and inviting. It’s a great spot for families, and they even have a big banquet room for larger parties or special occasions. Having a steakhouse like this in Cottonwood is exactly what we needed. I cannot wait to try the rest of the menu—I’m so looking forward to everything!

We have been frequent patrons since they opened. We stop in least once every week or two. Always wonderful service in a very relaxing environment. The staff is outstanding, especially Cristen and the two lovely ladies that manage the bar area!
The food is always top notch and there are many delicious options for everyone in your party. They have the ONLY salad bar in town and it has many different options. We come just for the salad bar on some occasions!
I highly recommend that you give the White Horse a try if you are in the area. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
