This place is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with genuine warmth and professionalism. The staff consistently go above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome, valued, and taken care of. It’s clear that they take pride in what they do — the attention to detail, the quality of service, and the overall atmosphere all reflect that.

What really stands out is the culture. The team treats each other — and customers — with respect and kindness. In all the time I’ve been around this establishment, I’ve never once known it to have “racist” employees or tolerate that kind of behavior. Inclusivity and professionalism are clearly non-negotiable here, and it shows in the diverse, friendly environment they’ve built.

The management runs a tight ship while still creating a positive, upbeat vibe. Whether it’s a busy rush or a quieter moment, the experience is consistently top-notch. It’s refreshing to see a place that truly values both its staff and its customers.

If you’re looking for a spot where you’ll be treated well and enjoy a great overall experience, this is it. Highly recommend.

Our party of 6 had a reservation for dinner before hearing “The Silverbacks” last weekend. We were promptly seated at 6:45 and our waitress instantly appeared. We ordered a round of beverages allowing time to peruse the menu items. Our food arrived in record time and was hot and delicious. Two burgers w sides, two steak tips orders (one atop salad, the other w fries), a nacho plate, and a Polish platter (highly recommend this option!) did not disappoint. The food portions were generous as well as the drink sizes. The prices were most affordable and the staff who served us were attentive and welcoming. Of special notation was the cleanliness of the rest room. All in all, highly recommend this neighborhood establishment for a well-priced decent meal. A diamond in the rough.

I have been coming to this bar for years, and while I have always felt that the bartenders were not the friendliest, I continued to support the establishment. However, what happened on Saturday, February 21, was completely unacceptable.

Every single time I have come here, my friends and I have ordered two beers at once without issue. It is completely legal to purchase two beers at a time, and throughout the night I observed many other customers doing exactly that. Two girls ahead of us ordered two drinks and four shots. Five of my friends — all white males — each had two drinks in hand and were never questioned.

When it was our turn, my friend and I asked the bartender (Bonnie) for four beers — two for each of us. We were ordering together to avoid waiting in line again. Instead of calmly explaining a policy, she immediately asked how old I was and told me I “should know better,” in a condescending tone. I apologized and explained that we have always ordered two beers here and that others around us had multiple drinks. She then accused me of rolling my eyes — which I did not do — and aggressively asked if I “had a problem.” (Feeling like she wanted to kick me out this was our first drink of the night)

I am a mixed woman and often one of the only ones in the bar. I was the only person being questioned and spoken to in that manner. Her hostility was directed solely at me, not my friend standing beside me.

To make matters worse, after we INTENTIONALLY LEFT A $0 tip due to this interaction, Bonnie entered a $2 tip into the system without our authorization. Adding money to a customer’s bill without consent is completely unacceptable and illegal. Customers should not have to double-check their charges after a night out. I strongly suggest people keep their receipts or pay cash to ensure their bill reflects what they actually authorized.
An example of What you can do on a bill to ensure they don’t mess with your tips:
Tip: -0-
Total:-10.00-
I am also a bartender, so I understand how stressful busy nights can be. Even when customers are difficult, professionalism matters. Policies can be enforced — but they must be enforced consistently, respectfully, and ethically. This was extremely out of line and wild for a bartender to have the confidence to do this to a paying customer. After years of supporting this bar, I left feeling singled out, disrespected, and extremely disappointed. The treatment i experienced felt discriminatory, and after reading other reviews, it appears I am not alone in feeling this way. I hope management does something about this because this is a on going pattern. Ensure all customers are treated with equal respect

I think it’s really cool that they host local wrestling here. AEW’s top star MJF got his start on the indies with these guys! Unfortunately, both times I went, I was mistreated by the staff. One time I wasn’t let in at all, and they seemed to imply that it was because they didn’t like my face. Another time I paid to get in, but after a few minutes was told to leave, again because they didn’t like my expression or something. I stopped trying, which was a bit heartbreaking, as I love supporting indie wrestling whenever it’s in Webster once in a while with BTW. Everywhere else the wrestling community seems to be welcoming, but I’m not sure what kind of problem these guys have with me. I’m perfectly friendly, I tip well, I have a few friends that are regulars that I’ve known for decades, those were for the most part the only people I interacted with. If anyone from here can try to set this straight I’d love to try to come again and enjoy it.

We had a bereavement meal at The White Eagle in the event space with the pool table. Julie was so helpful the entire time and was very accommodating. The space is very clean and the bartenders were very nice. The venue rental price was very reasonable also. We will definitely consider The White Eagle for an event in the future!

Great place to go for dinner and to watch a band. Really good, inexpensive food and drinks. A place where any legal age will feel welcome.

I’ve been thinking long and hard about how to detail what happened here on Super Bowl Sunday. Others have gone into detail about the day, so I have decided to refrain from sharing details of our experience as it is very similar to every other review describing the day.

Bottom line, this business made decisions that were, without a doubt, racist. Worcester is a city that prides itself on its diversity and inclusivity. The White Eagle does not. Advertising that the official NFL broadcast would be shown then deliberately changing the channel (and bar audio) during the halftime show is racist no matter which way you slice it.

Disappointed is a complete understatement. And after seeing how the bar staff treated the bouncer? I hope that he quit. He deserves SO much better.

Went here for the SuperBowl 2026. I could not believe what was witnessed. This place is very much living in the 1930s, by that I mean it is apparently a “Whites” Only Establishment. Extremely racist to say the least. The name of the business says it all… We also witnessed two people assaulted. One by Bar Security, and another by the Bar Manager. Soon after another issue happened where items were thrown. We left out of concern for our safety. Noooooope! Not going back!! You should not either!! I felt embarrassed to be Caucasian. These workers require cultural sensitivity training. They also should not drink while working.
